Sweet Sixteen Snowflakes
Best block since...?
Let's go blue
They played like they were in full tournament mode tonight.
Focus, survive and advance.
downvote for putting it up with a minute left. Ohio came back and beat ND with that amount of time left.
Yo I think we good son
especially their margin of loss....
and, playing the winner of the 11/14. Nice!
Two double digit wins in the tournament is ok by me.
...I feel so unsastisfied...
BULLSHIT! Sweet 16 POSBANG! Please edit title...thanks!
I'm here for the posbang - hit me.
That is how a posbang is suppose to work.

Jordan Morgan was very good. Best big man tonight
Fug yes!
Pretty good game. I think the broadcaster was right, that first run of 11 minutes straight without a break really helped us and hurt Texas' big man. Maybe not, maybe we were just that on fire and it didn't matter but that was odd to see, nonetheless, in this commercialized day in age.
GO BLUE. SWEET 16. W HAVIN' SUBS!!!
I hate zone defenses. They make the game less fun to watch.
Not sure if you meant an /s on there...
I love good defense, zone or not, and I love what it brings to the game.
Also, but is Texas' O rebounding so good because their shooting so bad? Maybe it's just feelingsball, but man, a lot of their shots were just so crazy bad, it didn't even give our rebounders in position a freaking chance.
Yes, somewhat at least. Many here probably wouldn't like to hear this but some of rebounding is "chance" and luck. The ball can take some weird bounces and even if one is in proper rebounding position the ball can find ways to miss you and go back to the oppostion's hands. When bricks are chucked up, this happens even moreso.
Props to GR3 who played a guy 2 inches taller and 25 lbs more, and made a statement early with his defense.

Texas OREB% - 52.50%
Texas FTR - 25.81%
Texas TOV% - 11.53%

Probably yes. He did smile once or twice so he is loosening up.
Also, they shot over 90% on free throws. They normall shoot 66%. Free throw defense lets us down again. There's your even more comfortable margin of victory.
never really in doubt and we looked good...
next is an 11/14 and then huge battle with witchita or louisville.
I want revenge against louisville.

When you pay too much for cable, you get frustrated. When you get frustrated, you take it onto the court. When you take it onto the court, you foul the other team's center, Jordan Morgan. When you foul Jordan Morgan, he makes his FTs. When he makes his FTs, you back off on defense. When you back off on defense, Michigan hits everything. And when Michigan hits everything, your coach gets fired for an embarassing performance.
Don't have your coach fired for an embarassing performance.

LOL nice
/tear.
The shots were dropping and that was the key.
Was it your butthole that was puckering? I thought the team kept their cool pretty well, just as they have all year.
Think Jordan Morgan doesn't want his career to end? He didn't record a double-double in the first 29 games of the season, but he's had three in his last six games (and two in a row).
Morgan is getting big time minutes in the tournament so far. He got 29 against Wofford and I can't find a number for this game, but I don't really remember seeing Horford except for a few plays. Big ups to Beilein (as if he needs any more) for recognizing when a guy is on. Morgan has been a difference maker so far. Went toe to toe with a guy who should have manhandled him tonight. Never underestimate the importance of senior leadership.
Morgan is the guy at center. It's not really "Morford" anymore. Morgan seized control of the position a few weeks ago and while Jon still gives us some minutes here and there, he's clearly the backup now.
Aren't "snowflake" threads just a repository for general game thoughts, good or bad?
