My favorite Arnold movie
February 22nd, 2024 at 8:03 PM ^
Really?! I would think Red Heat would be more your speed since, you know, Arnold plays a Russian in Red Heat.

The Running Man for me!
February 23rd, 2024 at 7:49 AM ^
Richard Dawson should have been up for best supporting actor for that!
February 23rd, 2024 at 8:58 AM ^
Richard Dawson was a national treasure. Hogan's Heroes, Match Game and Family Feud.

No love for kindergarten cop here?
*The correct answer is Pumping Iron, btw.

I think Arnold's comedic chops are under-rated. I could watch Commando twice in a row.

Good for him - doesnt need to be dragged down anymore because of that Stalions shithead.

FTFY. :)

Already on the road to Seattle.

. . . and then Danny joined in later (Per Behind the Music episode).

A friend of mine played in David Cassidy's touring band in the years before he died. What a weird gig.
February 22nd, 2024 at 7:46 PM ^
I interviewed Cassidy once. He was extremely nice to me, in part (I surmise) because I was the first reporter to ask him about his horse-breeding operation and not his musical career.

This is good.
February 22nd, 2024 at 7:35 PM ^
Figured this was a possibility. Good for him.
February 22nd, 2024 at 7:47 PM ^
doesn’t have to deal with NCAA stuff. good for him. Good coach.
February 22nd, 2024 at 7:52 PM ^
Noice. The Band has both ends of the West Coast covered.
February 22nd, 2024 at 7:52 PM ^
Glad to see him land on his feet.
February 22nd, 2024 at 7:54 PM ^
Good luck Coach Partridge.
Now I can enjoy a Seahawks victory as Carrol is gone and the new Meeeechigan regime is in place 🏈👍
February 22nd, 2024 at 7:59 PM ^
Happy for him. Made a mistake, got fired (perhaps hastily), and never threw the university under the bus. Hope he does really well out there
February 22nd, 2024 at 8:07 PM ^
But put yourself in that situation. And imagine how LIVID he must have been with the hit on the program... In that light, talking to his players is not that irrational. I mean, try not to say anything about it, which would be quite hard to do when you're THAT pissed. He gets a pass in my book, and I wanted Moore to bring him back. I'm glad he fell upward here now in the NFL.
February 22nd, 2024 at 8:27 PM ^
You can bring him back once the NCAA gets done pawing us around. Suddenly I feel like they have got their flesh and are ready to move on. Hmm wonder what changed?
February 22nd, 2024 at 8:29 PM ^
Awesome, I hope somebody gives him a championship ring.
February 22nd, 2024 at 8:38 PM ^
Part of burger gate punishment on the table was a show cause on McDonald. What a joke the NCAA is. I'm sure he was happy to bring in Partridge, who has great chemistry working with Jay. The coaching staff from these 3 B1G title teams will be connected for life by having been dragged thru the ringer by the NCAA.
February 23rd, 2024 at 2:18 AM ^
No connected for life as 3x B1G champions...period. Leave the NCAA BS out of it.
February 22nd, 2024 at 8:55 PM ^
"Rejoins" is kind of a funny word, because Macdonald's and Partridge's stints at Michigan had no overlap at all. But Partridge does obviously have a relationship with Jay.
February 22nd, 2024 at 10:08 PM ^
Whoops. I thought he was here two years.
February 22nd, 2024 at 8:56 PM ^
Glad to see him land on his feet. Also, fuck the NCAA.
February 22nd, 2024 at 9:21 PM ^
Good for him. Out there on the west coast he won't have to see many Michigan Basketball headlines and he can laugh at Petitititi as well as the ever shrinking NCAA.
February 22nd, 2024 at 9:26 PM ^
Mike and Chris have never worked together
February 22nd, 2024 at 11:02 PM ^
That’s awesome. I’m glad he landed in his feet. Unfortunate situation that he out himself in, and I wish he’d have been around to win a title, but I hope that they do well together, again

What a good hire by Seattle. Partridge is a fantastic coach. It sucks that he got boned here
February 23rd, 2024 at 6:24 AM ^
Awesome

Who will acquire more Michigan players, Seahawks or Chargers? I have reason to follow the NFL again, between these coaching changes and the Lions success I think I'll waste my Saturdays AND Sundays now.
February 23rd, 2024 at 9:01 AM ^
Rejoins Mike MacDonald.
I don't think they actually overlapped did they? CP left in 2020 as McDonald came in and then returned in 2023 after McDonald had left.
February 23rd, 2024 at 11:17 AM ^
Great news for Chris! He deserves to be coaching again. Best wishes to him.
