Josh Bartelstein new CEO of Phoenix Suns
Josh is moving up in the world of pro basketball. A former MSU walk-on hiring a former Michigan walk-on should make for some fun office bets in Phoenix.

I bet he jumped in celebration two seconds before he got the news.
This is the “deep track” of comments. Well done.
Impressive.
A reminder that sports rivalries aren't EVERYTHING.
You’re right, nepotism will trump anything.
im mostly kidding but obviously his father being a high profile agent has been a part of his success in his career
... rivalries aren't EVERYTHING.
Oh yes they are!
I wish my dad was rich so I could have had opportunities like these two.
I wish my dad came back with milk 25 years ago
You wouldn't be a fugitive today?
Did he take a wrong turn, Jack?
He said, "Smell ya later." but he never smelled me again.
Josh seemed lovely while he was here, but anecdotally that seems to be far more the exception than the norm. I'm glad to have been able to work hard and move up so I'm not entitled and look down on others like so many of the people born into wealth.
Club Trillion sticks together.
Congrats.
Other than nepotism, is he qualified for such a position?
Probably not.
He's been working under Arn Tellum. Probably more qualified than Pelinka was when he got the Laker's gig.
Almost 10 years after the confidence jump. Nice work Josh.
Even a MSU alum knows that if you want competency in running your organization, you hire a Univ of Michigan alum.
They don't want the truth because deep down in places they don't like to talk about at cow inseminations, they want us running their organization. They need us running their organization.
I'm really wrestling with whether this makes me feel old or unaccomplished or both. I think both.
I'm happy for Josh, but there's about a 0% chance he lands this job if his dad wasn't a prominent NBA agent. I'd just feel old
