Lol this is awesome. I hope he spat out one of the kernels and hit Scott Frost in the eye too.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:36 PM ^
LOL. Too funny. Nice to see these guys have some fun while playing a tough game.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:37 PM ^
hahaah I was ROFL when I saw it live. Right up there with DPJ's Paul Bunyan pose at MSU.
October 11th, 2021 at 9:29 AM ^
When I saw it live, I didn't get the corn reference. Thanks for the laugh!!
October 10th, 2021 at 10:40 PM ^
Wow, I did not catch that! Awesome!
October 10th, 2021 at 10:41 PM ^
That was funny. Thank goodness Hill’s unsportsmanlike conduct penalty was on 4th down. Not crazy about the timing of that one.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:51 PM ^
Yeah this one was also a little dangerous in terms of potentially drawing a flag... but the officials probably had no more clue what that was supposed to be than I was when I saw it live. If he had given it the ol' throat slash or something like that, would have been an insta-penalty.
Now that I know what it was supposed to be... LOL. Maybe it would have been worth 15 yds.
October 11th, 2021 at 8:01 AM ^
Moody would’ve covered it no problem.
October 11th, 2021 at 1:12 AM ^
I freaked out pretty badly thinking it would give them the first.
October 11th, 2021 at 7:48 AM ^
I think Hill knew the game was over at that point, took the opportunity to return some trash talking.
October 11th, 2021 at 10:42 AM ^
He's smarter than me.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:43 PM ^
Refs are still in the replay booth looking at this one.
October 11th, 2021 at 3:37 AM ^
UNderrated
October 11th, 2021 at 8:33 AM ^
We’re they really that bad! I didn’t watch the game live and just skipped over the replays so I did t really notice anything.
October 11th, 2021 at 8:51 AM ^
They were awful.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:47 PM ^
Can't wait to do this for my Husker brother in law at Thanksgiving.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:51 PM ^
My grandma used to tell me they used corn cobbs to wipe their ass in the outhouse on the farm she grew up on.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:55 PM ^
Yikes, super graphic and strange
October 10th, 2021 at 10:56 PM ^
It would make for an interesting TD celebration.
October 11th, 2021 at 12:31 AM ^
If you think that’s strange look up ‘pig toilet’. Still widely used to this day.
October 11th, 2021 at 8:39 AM ^
I am pretty disappointed at how literal and that turned out to be.
October 10th, 2021 at 10:55 PM ^
Thanks for sharing
October 10th, 2021 at 11:10 PM ^
The same cob or a new one each time?
October 11th, 2021 at 7:12 AM ^
That's a great question. Things we need to ask in the living years.
October 10th, 2021 at 11:43 PM ^
How old are you?
Barry Kudrowitz, associate professor and director of product design at the University of Minnesota, has studied the history and use of toilet paper. Through the 1700s, corncobs were a common toilet paper alternative. Then, newspapers and magazines arrived in the early 18th century.
That’s from a very fascinating article on history.com.

Well, this was the Michigan Thumb in the 1920s. It was a straight pipeline from the Thumb to Agriculture College of the State of Michigan.
October 11th, 2021 at 8:24 AM ^
I’m from the Michigan Thumb. The “1920’s” qualifier was not necessary.

I love how #44 is left completely unblocked at the point of attack and can't even get within a yard of Blake. That's some Barry Sanders stuff
October 10th, 2021 at 10:58 PM ^
Game-changing touchdowns in huge wins with all-time creative celebrations are truly special. This was the highlight of the season for me so far, and the moment I will talk about for years to come (just as I do about DPJ’s Paul Bunyan pose). The Bunyan trophy has been around for ages, and so has the cornhusker mascot, but these gifted athletes (Corum and DPJ) had the foresight and wit to pull out these celebrations after extremely special plays.
October 10th, 2021 at 11:04 PM ^
I knew right away what he was doing and was glad he didn't get a unsportsmanlike penalty. Was pretty funny though ?
October 10th, 2021 at 11:31 PM ^
Yeah that's an all-time troll job right there. Well done by Mr. Corum. Really hope we get to see him or Haskins or CJ or someone do the Paul Bunyan pose vs Sparty again. It's just too good not to repeat.
October 11th, 2021 at 1:26 AM ^
I snorted and farted when I saw him do this live... and to be perfectly honest I'm not sorry one bit. As a Michigan fan, I deserved this moment of uncontrollable joy and I savored every window vibrating second of it. The dog is still hiding and the living room smells like beer. God Bless You, Blake Corum!
October 11th, 2021 at 1:42 AM ^
Also... I sincerely hope Scott Frost sees this and the image replays in his sleep every night for the rest of his natural life. Fuck Scott Frost and fuck the 1997 Nebraska team. There was only 1 champion that year and they outhit everybody. Scott knows it. I know it. The world knows it. Wolverines never forget. Vengeance is best served with corn.

The ole, “snart”.
October 11th, 2021 at 6:17 AM ^
bet Blake was shitting corn the next morning!
Add 44 to the file of guys that didn't anticipate how fast he is.
October 11th, 2021 at 8:19 AM ^
I feel like a moron because I couldn't tell what he was doing at first. Then my dad, sitting next to me, started laughing and said, "Eat that corn, Blake!"
Sometimes your parents still have to point out the obvious. At least they do with me.
October 11th, 2021 at 8:55 AM ^
WH, I thought he was doing a cry baby thing at first. Then someone on here mentioned the corn on the cob. I was a little slow on the uptake. Now it’s even funnier.
October 11th, 2021 at 11:28 AM ^
I knew it was about eating, but I didn’t grasp the corn on the cob part of it … until this thread.
October 11th, 2021 at 9:50 AM ^
I quite enjoyed this celebration.

Yes, should have eaten like a typewriter—left to right, then rotate. Kids!
