Hump Day Trust Test
Happy Hump Day, we're half-way to Happy Valley!
I'm super excited for this week's game, I think it's a big opportunity for the team to step up...
With that in mind, it got me thinking, who do you believe in? What players are you confident in to step up and make a play? Both in a big moment, and just in a general, "gut check" type sense.
This thread is NOT meant to be negative or to bash any players. I'm asking for the exact opposite lol.
I don't wanna list too many, as I want the board's opinion, so I'll list 1 guy I already trust, and 1 I'm starting to; I trust Nico Collins to make a play, and I'm (rapidly) starting to trust Cam McGrone to step up in big moments.
What say you?
Go Blue!

Please remember to take your ADHD meds. They will help you keep your impulsivity in check. You will be able to pause and ask yourself if we actually need a thread like this before you post it.

Don't listen to this guy, give your meds to me instead.

Nothing wrong with this thread. It’s a big game Saturday. A positive thread to discuss it, is great for everyone.
I trust Shea. Don’t ask why, I just do. His legs are going to be the x factor Saturday.

Step one is trusting yourself. Because who else are you going to trust

What is worse, a thread you don't like or a comment complaining about a thread that you don't like. Suggestion for resolving bad threads. Do not respond or comment and the thread will go away.

I believe that JoePa knew.
October 16th, 2019 at 3:49 PM ^
He did. His AD (Tim Curley) admitted at Curley's trial that JoePa knew in 1998 that Sandusky was a perv, but hired him for another season and let him keep his keys and have total access to the football facilities after Sandusky retired.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:36 PM ^
The hilarious thing overlooked in all the noise, Jay Paterno, him very self, said JoePa knew.
Jay didn't say that word for word.
Rather, Jay did describe in his book a meeting in dad's living room where McQueary was present and what he saw was discussed.
Moron.

My daughter believed in Santa Claus, and when she found he was me was she ever pissed. "You've been lying to me all these years!" she shouted and proceeded to cry her eyes out.

Quinn Nordin kicks a 55 yarder to win the game with 3 seconds left.
October 16th, 2019 at 3:53 PM ^
I think he can still hear the laughter from their fans from 2 years ago.
October 16th, 2019 at 3:53 PM ^
and then the whole team sleeps over at his parents house afterwards woo!
October 16th, 2019 at 3:53 PM ^
Now THAT is a hot take!
October 16th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
Redemption, baby!
October 16th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
After Moody gets injured? Because that's the only way Nordin gets any more attempts.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
I'm thinking 66, but I hear you--that would be fun.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:28 PM ^
Okay......from our 5 for 9 year. I will take the opposite.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:38 PM ^
This is my biggest fear for Saturday. The game comes down to a FG and for some reason, JH puts in Nordin rather than Moody for all the marbles.
October 16th, 2019 at 5:19 PM ^
Don't listen to this guy, tell him to give me his meds instead.
October 16th, 2019 at 3:57 PM ^
Defense Aiden Hutchinson
Offense - zip zed nada none, less than 1
October 16th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
I trust Shea to complete 65% of his passes, account for 3 scores, and not to turn the ball over.
I trust LaVert Hill to make a game-clinching interception with less than two minutes left.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
If Shea accomplished that I'd be pleasantly shocked ?
October 16th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
I trust that most of us will want to believe Shea throws for 65% and 3 TD's while Michigan looks prepared and with a solid game plan that they execute. What I really trust (unfortunately and so wish it wasn't true) is that Michigan will show up ill prepared and not execute effectively because that is what we have seen the last 5 games they have played.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
Are we playing Rutgers or Bluffton ?
October 16th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
Are we playing Rutgers or Bluffton ?I trust Shea.
October 16th, 2019 at 7:56 PM ^
Bluffton? Al said “bluff run”. It’s bluff run.
October 17th, 2019 at 12:34 PM ^
I also have this hunch, shading towards a belief, that Shea is going to step up and have a big game. It's pretty necessary if Michigan is going to get out of there with a W.
And I'll be cheering my ass off for it to happen. Going in to BPONER suppression mode.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
If healthy, I trust that Lavert Hill will be all over KJ Hamler like flies on shit. Hamler is the receiver that could hurt us most - but Hill is going to make him a non-factor.
Go Blue!
October 16th, 2019 at 4:16 PM ^
Correct me if I am wrong....but Harbaugh didn't want Hamler correct. That is what my memory is telling me. Bad decision if I am correct.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:34 PM ^
Eh, look at the bright side. Jim would have deployed him only on jet sweeps where the intention was telegraphed Lloyd-style.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:48 PM ^
I really want to down vote you. But I can't...
October 16th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
In all fairness to Harbaugh and Michigan recruiting, believe Hamler was part of the 2017 class when we were loaded with receivers - DPJ, Black, and Collins. And Hamler blew out his knee his senior year of high school.
Admit he certainly would have been a better 4th receiver recruit that year than Oliver Martin. But hard to argue with our receiver recruting class overall in 2017.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
I trust the board will be kind to my idiotic double post. It has always been so understanding of the errors of others...
October 16th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
I trust Amber Thomas, Big Mike, and Tarik Black.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:40 PM ^
I went to HS with an Amber Thomas. I would not trust her.
October 16th, 2019 at 9:49 PM ^
OTOH, Amber is a great name for a stripper.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
I trust Charbonnet and Wilson to pick up blitzes
I’m starting to trust L. Hill to step up in big moments. He’s been very good in his career, and he’s also been burned at key moments. I thought he responded very well this year after a couple of WTF plays earlier this season.
I’d appreciate if he’d take one back for 6 on Saturday night though. :-)
October 16th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
I don't understand why people are trolling and/or turning their nose up at this post.
This is a M Football board and I'm trying to have a midweek convo (and a positive one, at that) about the team ahead of a big game.

I am retired and we are three days away from my wife taking a 6 week "sabbatical". We will begin this leave with a little camping expedition then the next three weeks we will be in Laos and Vietnam. So we are excitedly chilled-out right now.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:12 PM ^
Good for you? Maybe this was meant for another post?
October 16th, 2019 at 5:08 PM ^
Naa...I should have noted that we will be camping in the hinter-lands with little to no access. I will gladly let the young men play the game...and discover the results after the fact. I know that my not watching the game from the edge of the couch and being neither jubilant nor distraught will effect the outcome but so be it.
October 16th, 2019 at 8:28 PM ^
Ah, well that’s definitely something to cherish and enjoy. Good on you for being able to be present in the moment.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:44 PM ^
mgocamping on steroids. Will there be gravy?
October 16th, 2019 at 4:55 PM ^
Mmmm....Cambodian gravy, now that's the shit.
October 16th, 2019 at 7:45 PM ^
We will be with/visiting/in the care of very good friends who live in Laos-for two weeks. I'm pretty sure there will be no gravy-canned or otherwise...I have never been there. Our friends do love to send pics of "exotic" food stuff their Laotian friends "offer" them.I have been to Vietnam-it is foodie heaven...an incredible smorgasbord of options.

He was talking about sex. The good kind, that you need antibiotics for afterward.
