FIRE BRIAN KELLY

0-11 against top 5 teams. Clearly cant win big games. Ideas for coaches to replace him?

Strangely this take isnt all over every or really any ND blogs.

Michigan will be lucky to go 7-5. Notre Dame isn’t facing that issue this year. They just hanged with the #3 team in the country on the road. To pretend how one loses and whom one loses to doesn’t matter is asinine. Had Michigan lost today like ND did, we’re not having the conversations we’re having.

Wha baseless absolutes? Jim’s teams have looked similar for all his major letdown games. He can’t win a big game especially on the road. His teams look flat and sloppy AGAIN.

it’s not baseless takes it’s this rerun we’ve seen over and over again. His team didn’t just get beat in this game. He’s had a game where he’s been run out of a stadium in embarrassing fashion 3 years running. It’s tradition with Harbz

Kelly never made a BCS title game appearance. Did get to the playoff in his 9th season at ND and got embarrassed. ND has not won a major bowl game in over 25 years. Kind of like being the tallest midget I guess. He has the blood of 2 dead students on his hands and should have been fired. Embarrassing that any true ND fan would cheer for the team whilst he is still employed.

I don't understand what your point is.  Are you trying to say we can't fire our coach because Notre Dame doesn't want to fire their coach?

I live near South Bend.  You can imagine my ire in admitting that ND flew fast to the ball and looked good on defense.  They made Georgia  earn this win.

I can't say the same for Wisconsin earning theirs vs. Michigan.  Michigan looked lost on D against an obvious running game plan that they had 2 weeks to prepare for.

Well maybe but, he has a very pedestrian, 3 star QB making our 5-star, 5th year senior look like a jagaloon.

Their defense looked good on the road in SEC cheater-land.

I texted my brother last night and said I was jealous of ND.  At least they were out there competing last night and looked the part of a solid and tough football team.  No shame in losing in Athens last night.  They fought unlike some other big programs.

Forget the NC game and playoffs that he's taken them to.  He just took his team into Georgia's stadium to play the #3 ranked team in the country - the same team that has legitimately pushed Alabama HARD for three years - and took them right to the brink.  ND played hard, played smart, and fought every inch of that field.  He should feel zero shame for that loss.

OP, you are a drunk fucking idiot.

I feel for you, Mom...  But, at least, it seems like these hot take threads are staying within the bounds of reason (for the most part).  Which is very much different from previous meltdowns that required the board to be shutdown for a while.  To be sure, though, plenty of posters last night wanted the world set afire and vociferously shit on anyone that didn't agree with them.  Hopefully, their drunk will have worn off and they'll be too hung over to keep it up today.

Good luck to all the Moms today!!

Yea it is, there are plenty of ND fans that really want Kelley gone, but they went through the same as Michigan and hired a bunch of coaches in a short time. You cant just keep hiring new coaches when your team is having a down year.

I just don’t understand this kind of stupid.

I’m hoping people like you will see the light after ND comes to the Big House and smacks the team so bad it breaks the dumb glasses off Harbaugh’s face.

I mean he did take his team to the BCS title game in 2012 and the CFP last year.

Harbaugh can't even win the Big Ten East.   Maybe Michigan should go independent....

Add it the list of Michigan fans who try to draw parallels with another situation all while leaving out the important variables
