They had studs at all levels. Tampa's defense is more talented than this Seattle defense. The Hawks don't have a Sapp or Brooks along their front 7.

Agreed. TB had some great defenses. But those were older guys too mostly - in the league 5-7 years so we knew a lot of their names. One wonders if Seattle is mostly "no names" because (a) they are on the west coast and not east coast and (b) most are 2-3 year players. Maybe some of these Seattle guys will be a lot better known in 3 years...dunno.

Seahawks this year have often reminded me of the so-so Jim McMahon, team defense model.

Seattle could be up even more if they did not get stymied in the red zone more. THought the San Fran Seattle winner would win this game but thought it would be like 24-17 type of game. Pretty incredible start for Seattle.

Boy this james sucks.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:44 PM ^
That looks like it will be reversed. 2 Ints for the Denver, a botched snap, and two close calls on fumbles.

Considering Baltimore was up 22 last year yeah.

Never count out Pointman Peyton.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:49 PM ^
Yeah, I do. There are 2-3 QBs in the league I would say could mount a comeback under this situation, and Peyton is one of them (Brady, Rodgers being the other two).

Denver has kept their D off the field for most of the 2nd quarter.

We have been spoiled by SBs of late... lots of competitive games. Growing up in the 80s and 90s they mostly sucked :)
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:51 PM ^
Unless you were a fan of the 49ers, Giants, Redskins or Cowboys.... yeah that period sucked. The NFC Championship game was the Super Bowl.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:52 PM ^
haha another good one
Super Bowl XLVIII is probably Peyton Manning's funniest commercial yet. He's very self-deprecating.

I don't like that call by Fox at all.
February 2nd, 2014 at 7:54 PM ^
Google facts tweeted a 10 pt deficit has never been overcome in the SB. Interesting.
