Post your OC possibilities

Submitted by PrincetonBlue on

Just post possibilities to replace Borges.  No discussion: just post names and where they come from.  If you are feeling extra generous, you can lay out the whole resume too.

I just want someone young, hungry and innovative with the offense. There's talent there and it could be a special group next season even with a still young line.

I agree with this! My dream is that whoever we bring in is young and successful enough that he can take over for Hoke 10 years down the road (after 3 MNCs of course). That's the kind of program stability I would love to get back to assuming we also get back to 10+ win seasons and B1G championships.

I am tired of Michigan always looking like the dumb team.  Get someone who will have us one step ahead instead of two steps behind.  We don't need an NFL retread who is steeped in that static culture.  My ideal candidate is a relatively young guy with OC experience and the ability to create winning quarterbacks.... but most of all he must bring us into the 21st century with tempo, toughness and smarts. We want people to marvel at how innovative and creative are those guys in the winged helmets.  Play to WIN.

Am I wrong for being intrigued by Seth Littrell?

The production they've been able to put up at IU the past couple seasons with less-than talent has been impressive.

Jesus people. No coach in their right mind would leave their head coaching position to be the offensive coordinator at Michigan.Regardless of league or confrerence. Let's get our heads in the right place.

Actually, I think Bob Stitt would take the right OC job.  (He first gained some notoriety when Holgorsen credited him after the 2012 Orange Bowl as the inventor of the Fly Sweep, when WVU put up 70 on Clemson.)  It would be like a Malzahn hire, when he jumped to the OC ranks of an FBS school.  Not saying Michigan will consider it, but some smart program should interview him.

Danny Langsdorf, Oregon State OC

He's been the OC there since 2005, and yet he's still only 41 years old. They aired it out a ton this year, but he has also had a better running game when the roster allowed. He seems to be a good fit for our current roster but is also innovative enough to keep us ahead of the game. He also coaches QBs and seems to have done well with Mannion, Katz, etc. His top receiver Cooks won the Bielitnikov this year. Not sure if Hoke knows him or not, but Brady does have the Corvallis connection. Might be a good fit, who knows. I like the idea of bringing in a PAC12 guy because they seem to know how to score points.

About the recruits! Who cares these guys won't see the field for at least a 2 years. Let's get a fucking guy who can provide an awesome offense with the talent we have and then they will come running. I haven't heard anyone on the team crying about this yet.
