Michigan - Iowa Game Thread

Submitted by mGrowOld on

I've never done one of these before but it's about 20 minutes to kick-off and none of the usual suspects have stepped forward so I guess it's time.  I'm feeling good about this game and think Michigan wins 24-14.  Meanwhile, over on ESPN Sparty takes on the Cats at noon so we've got plenty of Michigan (the state of)  football to watch early.

I just don't get him. He preaches toughness and physical play. But after three seasons, his team is the exact opposite of that. Whatever he is doing at practice, it's Fucking wrong!!!!!

Random media guy: "coach Hoke-your offense gained all of 32 yards in the second half with 26 of them coming on the last drive where Garner fjumbled.  Does that change your feeliing about the offensie at alll"

Hoke: "Absolutely NOT.  Matter of fact I gave Big Al a contract extension at the end of the game.  He's ithe BEST."

Hilarious, first TO of the day and all of a sudden all the blame is placed on DG. You guys forget how we got 21 pts? 7 from the defense, 14 from DG bailing out Borges' ass.

I feel bad for Devin. Borges puts him into such a tough position with his shitty play calling and Devin has been trying to compensate by making big plays and probably trying too hard to make it happen.

Pathetic.  Worst offense I've ever seen this team have.  Been watching for 20+ years.  Can't run the ball, can't throw the ball.

Get ready for a 45-0 beatdown next week.

I love Michigan, but this team fucking sucks. They are inept. 4 fucking turnovers to 1, and you still lose. Borges sucks. Devin is damaged goods. The receivers are shocked when balls come to them, because it rarely happens. The defense couldn't stop the run when they knew it was coming. Complete team loss.

Everybody wants Shane Morris to play until he actually does and plays like a freshman. Then it's going to be "Shane sucks! Get rid of this guy. Whose idea was it to play him anyway?"

Yes Gardner has made a few plays but his bad overshadows his good. He hesitates on throws, never checks to other receivers, refused to run north and get the easy yards, etc, etc.
