Mich v UConn TV showings panic averted EDIT: for some not all
Hey folks, I just checked the future schedule for the game on the DTV guide, I get the NYC ABC affiliate and it finally shows our game listed at that time slot.
I also checked the San Diego affiliate for ABC and it was showing KSU v TX earlier but now indicates a TBD, I wouldn't doubt if Mich. game is shown, luckily, I get the NYC channel, yay for me!

In GA mine has changed from K St - TX to TBA. That's got to be a good sign.

SF Bay Area Alumni we need to all call ABC and let them know we wat Michigan. If enough people do it we can make it happen.

If I have an X-Box, is it going to be on ESPN Live regardless of where I live? (I'm in phoenix, so I think I'm getting UT normally)

I live in the SF Bay Area and have Comcast (or Xfinity or whatever it is they're calling themselves these days) and TiVo. TiVo's listings are showing Kansas State v. Texas on ABC, Auburn v. LSU on ESPN, Colorado State vs. Alabama on ESPN2, and SMU v. Texas A&M on ESPNU. Comcast's listings are the same on ABC and ESPN, but they show TBA on ESPN2 and ESPNU. I hope they'll shift the Michigan game to one of those channels. The college football schedule on ESPN.com shows that the Michigan game will be available on Watch ESPN, but it's not listed on the actual Watch ESPN website. So there's a chance that those of us who live in the Bay might not be able to watch this game.
Doesn't the Big Ten's deal with ESPN require them to reverse mirror Big Ten games?
September 17th, 2013 at 9:22 PM ^
Yes, but since the game is at UConn, it is not considered a game within the contract between the Big Ten and ESPN. The AAC does not have reverse mirrors in their contract.

Oh yeah. Guh.
*shakes fist at Bill Martin for agreeing to play a game at UConn*

Anyone know much about Gameplan? Is it like NFL Sunday Ticket or something? I'm planning on watching at a bar down in New Mexico. Assuming ABC will have Texas, but I'm also assuming (hoping) that the bar will be able to show the game through Gameplan. Any ideas?

6-7 years ago I had to get the gameplan every year, Directv, BTN, and ESPN2-7 have made this unnecessary...until now. At that point you could purchase individual games for like $20, do you know if this is still possible.

Ahh, that sucks. I saw this on the other thread http://mattsarzsports.com/Schedule/Weekly?week=4&sportYear=football2013 and it looked like they should have it.
Re: New Mexico, I was living up in Taos and Santa Fe for awhile, but I'm just headed back for a visit this week. If you're around we'll probably try to watch the game at Fox and Hound in Albuquerque where the alumni association (usually about 15 people) gets together. I'll be the guy younger than 50.

I believe you can purchase individual games on the gameplan for like $20-$25 or something. It's worth it, going to a bar and dealing with a crowd and you'll spend way more is a hassle.

Living where I do obviously I'm getting the UT/KSU game with no option for the Michigan game. Totally sucks.
September 18th, 2013 at 2:40 AM ^
I already knew the ABC channel here would be carrying KSU/UT! Sucks, even all the sports bars around here will not show the game!

don't "THEY" realize the numbers of M fans in other states, CA, NY, TX? They've got to understand their market a little better than that.

I don't think XBox Live is enough. I think you have to have XBox Live PLUS a specific internet carrier. (AKA NOT Time Warner Cable, the internet carrier that I have)

That doesn't make any sense unless the game is somehow going to be available in some other way. They would want to make money off of it, right? RIGHT?????
