Has anyone thought that maybe the poggi's are just using the official to cut down some of the costs of making the trip to Alabama? And maybe they have talked to Hoke about this and he is ok with it.
I wouldn't believe one tweet from that account. Are you serious.

Eeeeh that's some serious homerism in my opinion.

So the question now is will Henry Poggi flip to #Bama? I think he sticks w/ Michigan.

He gone. Sucks, wish we actually had some time to find a replacement. Great parenting Biff, teach those kids to be men of their words. Or just lie and lie and continue to lie when you're found out and act like you hate recruiting. What is it about recruiting that makes all these people sneak around and flip flop on decisions. I really can't think of a real life parellel to anything like it.

I agree with you that every person has the right to make their own decisions about their personal life choices. However, I do think it is a shame how easily people commit to one school and then go back on their word. I know we are talking about kids 17-18 year olds, but that is still no excuse to have no integrity. In addition, I am not referring to Poggi taking a visit to Bama, as an acceptable reason to get angry at his choices. However, when a kid changes his commitment to a different school, I understand how that could make people a little unhappy.

I just picked up some Sam Adams Boston Lager, took a chill pill, and am ignorning all these rumors. IMHO I think Poggi stays with Michigan, but I wish him the best of luck in his career if he chooses elsewhere.
Looking forward to relaxing this weekend and seeing where Green chooses tomorrow.
Cheers mates!

I would be surprised if this twitter account really belongs to Henry's dad. Let's all take a breath and be sure that we don't get catfished. This account has very little activity on it.

A little dissapointing at the comment from his pops but I think he still goes blue. I'm curious what the SEC is doing, thats legal, that is differentiating them so much from Hoke and Co.

but I think Poggi is more valuable to this class than Greene.
We need solid lines on both sides to start winning games...

The ESPN Bama guys don't seem to think it is a recruiting trip, which pretty much falls in line with what the other sites are saying too. I think this is just 247 being 247.

The discussion on here about Biff Poggi's tweats is ridiculous.
The Biff Poggi twitter is clearly a fake. Given the OSU reference it's most likely an OSU fan...trying to get all the michigan board to start flaming.
January 26th, 2013 at 2:35 PM ^
There are tweets from last summer that have nothing to do with football - they have to do with church, his assistant coach's surgery, etc. If it's an OSU fan, it's a very long and complicated plot.

You’ve got to be kidding. The account was never very active. And yes, a few (14 total) random nonsensical tweets (Moeller fan, bible study, Wizard of Oz, an Advertisement, and now a couple tweets criticizing the Big 10 recruiting with an Ohio and SEC reference) by a guy who is known to be pretty smart. Give me a break. Does this sound like the proud and smart father/coach who sends many of his players to the IVY league and who’s two sons are committed to the Big 10 for football. He never even tweets about his sons. People who know Biff have already stated that this account is far far far from his character.
I know a girl on the internet that would like to meet you. HaHa.

Why would I be kidding?
I never said it was Biff Poggi. All I said was that if it's an OSU fan, it would be a long and very complicated ruse. Is my statement untrue?
January 27th, 2013 at 3:09 PM ^
Thanks for clarifying. That's more clear. My point was that it wasn't Biff Poggi and the board shouldn't assume it was.
