our old friend Jordan Payton with a great 15 yard penalty

Love that playcall by UCLA there. They totally ran TDGCD, except it was a QB Draw. T'would be nice to add that to the repertoire, especially with Devin running it.

Brett Hundley is showing the FOX viewers anyway how you maximize your 300-ish yards of total rushing this year for (now) 9 rushing TDs. UCLA playing some inspired offense, and Stanford seems genuinely taken aback.

Stanford took a pick back to the 1 yard line. Bout to tie it up.

Oh my goodness, that INT return was absolutely brilliant. Denardian, one might say.
November 30th, 2012 at 9:11 PM ^
Looks like a td if they review it.

Man I wish the B1G would have hired this guy! He makes watching sports so damn entertaining.
November 30th, 2012 at 9:12 PM ^
He is my favorite by far also. Gus does big ten basketball and I believe he will call the BIG Ten Championship tommorow night.
November 30th, 2012 at 9:12 PM ^
...just broke Denard's SS rushing record. Kid is slippery.
November 30th, 2012 at 9:14 PM ^
...pretty amazing. Lynch doesn't quite "look" the part, but congrats to him...pretty impressive to break Denard's record and he still has ~1.5 games to go.

Kinda sad that there are more ranked teams in the MAC championsip than the B1G championship
November 30th, 2012 at 9:49 PM ^
...and Jim Mora is not exactly the most "above-board" guy to ever coach at any level. Am I the only one who wondered about the possibility that he had his team tank last week's game against Stanford in order to avoid playing Oregon tonight?
Plus the competitive advantage of playing a rematch seems to favor the team that lost the first game based on all the examples I can think of (Alabama over LSU last year, Florida over FSU in the 1997 Sugar Bowl, Oklahoma over Nebraska in the 1979 -I think- Orange Bowl).
November 30th, 2012 at 10:09 PM ^
This makes a ton of since. As a Falcons fan I don't like giving Mora too much credit, but if UCLA wins it would make a ton of sense. Oregon really got F***** this year lol
November 30th, 2012 at 11:07 PM ^
LA Times reporter named TJ Simers accused Mora of it at a press conference in a way that was very unprofessional (link to story). Here is the video:

"Have a lead, lose a lead....need a lead, take a lead". It should be painted at midfield honestly. This is indeed MACtion at Ford Field.
With that, NIU gets inside the Kent State 10 yard line. Anything can and has happened.
EDIT: Huskies TD. 4 plays, 75 yards, and 3:12 left. Alas, no lead is safe even at that in the MAC.

Commence Circus music.

I think I just saw a painted baby bump in the NIU crowd.

Apparently it is for women as the girl won the $100,000 at halftime throwing into the 10 calorie can.

NOT a fan of Nebraska but for the B1G I think they could handle UCLA in the Rose bowl
December 1st, 2012 at 12:14 AM ^
because if it is you should know UCLA killed Nebraska in the Rose Bowl earlier this year.
If its just sarcasm, carry on.

I think Dave Doeren substituted personnel just so they could stand there and watch the final seconds of regulation play wind down. Is this also part of MACtion? Few teams have a "just do nothing" unit like that.
November 30th, 2012 at 10:25 PM ^
Overtime in the MACTION championship. It brings a tear to my eye.
November 30th, 2012 at 10:25 PM ^
I always prefer Maction, but MACtion is pretty entertaining.
November 30th, 2012 at 10:35 PM ^
That was an Al Borges type of drive
November 30th, 2012 at 10:49 PM ^
Or does Lynch remind anyone else of Flutie?
EDIT: feel bad for Kent State; would have also enjoyed Sooner tears.

which is a better match up for them, I wonder?
I know they lost to UCLA earlier in the year but that was a very winnable game for them that they crapped their way to a loss...but Stanford's style of play may more to Nebraska's strengths.

Does NIU have a shot to move up to 16th? If UCLA and Texas both lose, they'd only need to jump Boise and us. How big a bump will they get from the computers for a win tonight?
Although I guess they might not jump UCLA regardless. It'll be interesting to see.

NIU could be an interesting team to watch this weekend. #16 and #17 both lost last night, #18 Texas plays Kansas St, and #20 Boise plays Nevada, who they always have trouble with. If the voters and computers decided to drop all of them below a 12-1 Huskies team then the only thing standing between NIU and the BCS is...Michigan. Would they jump them over an idle Michigan team? Honestly, I doubt they drop UCLA at all, but if it came down to it I sure wouldn't mind the Huskies jumping us to get to 16 and get a chance at say, Florida State, in a BCS bowl. Everyone should get a chance to see Lynch play.
