Anzalone not visiting this weekend
PA LB Alex Analone will not visit UM this weekend, was reportedly told by the coaches that they are full at linebacker. Sounds like the Coaches are pretty confident in the guys they are already recruiting.
newspaper yesterday. Anzalone was standing next to Urban Meyer wearing what appears to be Meyer's championship rings? I've tried embedding photo but no luck .
all year long. Personally I think its awesome. Its Hokemania running wild at you! And oh yeah Urban revival
If we have a silent commit(Ben). I wonder what the reason for it being silent
Because he's deadly...
I don't quite understand the strategy of silent commits.
I remember that FSU was really known for it (so they 'finished strong' in recruiting a bunch). But why hide your assets if those assets will attract others? Maybe the 'assets attract others' part is too much of an assumption.
At least Anzalone has that Temple offer to fall back on.
I talked with Alex who was told by the coaches that we're full at the LB position. Michigan is no longer a consideration for Alex barring incredibly crazy circumstances.
So you're tellin me there's a chance!
Thanks again Aquaman! If you need an answer -- Aquaman to the Rescue!
If ben is a silent i wonder when we will know
U-M is also full at OL according to Funk via Colin McGovern.

If we're full, it's the right thing to do. Why waste the kid's money?
Then why is McGovern visiting?
What if one of the LB's decommits? I would have informed the kid, but let it be his choice, which would also gauge his interest. Maybe that's what the coaches did do.
Do you think the coaches actually said, "We're full and we won't talk to you." They likely told him, "We don't anticipate having a spot for you and your offer is no longer committable." From there, he could read the writing on the wall. I really doubt they said "don't come."
is that i don't have to stop reading his name as "anal zone" and chuckling.
Frankly, with Butt already in the fold, I'm glad he isn't going to be on the team.
And not having the key to his performance being penetration is another big upside.
I want Dorian Odaniel has been told?
Honestly, I don't think it would be anything against O'Daniel if we are saving a spot for Levenberry and not for him. O'Daniel projects as a weakside linebacker, something we've already taken plenty of in the last class. Levenberry projects to a position of need (SAM). That's why we're keeping a spot open for him because, besides Hutchings, he is the best player with interest in Michigan at that position (and Hutchings is a looooong shot).
In a normal year, you'd love to have O'Daniel, but with the number constraints and the needs, it's going to be difficult to fit him in.We don't know what the coaches have said. We haven't been updated and it seems like he's still due to visit for the Spring Game.
I can't wait to see if he visits. I bet he does!
But how is wondering what Odaniel has been told offtopic? he is a LB recruit with a Michigan offer. He also has plans for a visit??
if they let him visit, it would tell us right there. correct? They told Anzalone that we were full, and not to visit,. i suppose we will see.
Farewell Anzalone, we hardly knew ye.
I see this as good news. Coaches are obviously comfortable with the talent they have in the fold if they're already turning people away.
So much for that Chad Henne connection...
How is this kid not a top 50 player to all the sites with the offer list he has. impressive.
