Zach Harrison to OSU

Yeah we really have to think about which loss will make the biggest impact - a kid who hasn’t played a down of college football vs one of the greatest coaches of all time.
Holy shit

Makes sense he let his family decide on OSU for him. Kid always seemed kinda weak and like he could never make a decision for himself.
Can't wait to see this pussy crying on the sidelines when Dax and our D punches OSU in the fucking mouth come next November.

You talking about Rashan Gary or Zach Harrison?!?
Sour grapes much, maybe it's just a mirage...
December 19th, 2018 at 1:31 PM ^
Rashan was always set on Michigan and didn't have his decision made by those around him. Not sure if you ever watched the Amazon doc, but it's clear Gary didn't come here just because his mom wanted him to get his degree.

It’s your message board and all, but that’s about the most classless post I’ve ever read. You know nothing about the kid or what really went into his decision, just speculation.
December 19th, 2018 at 12:57 PM ^
It's not signing day without at least one 5 star going elsewhere, very glad it was Harrison over Dax.
December 19th, 2018 at 12:57 PM ^
did people really say they didn't want him after tOSU put 62 on UM. Sure you didn't need him either.
December 19th, 2018 at 12:58 PM ^
^Troll alert.
No, but we witnessed pretty much every Buckeye fan trash his game when he was pegged for Michigan. Irony.

Dude, those fries aren’t going to cook themselves. The drive through is starting to back up.
December 19th, 2018 at 4:47 PM ^
You must have posted this while squatting over a cooler.
Have you stopped beating your wife yet?
December 19th, 2018 at 8:51 PM ^
Michigan would have been very happy to have Zach H. However, Daxton Hill was/is much more important to the Michigan roster. And my contention has always been that Daxton was (significantly) more of a difference-maker. You OSU fans, of all people, should know what it means to have an elite safety patrolling the back end of the defense.

As soon as Urban retired he was going to OSU,nothing to do with final game. His family didnt like Urban Meyer,we can all understand that
best of luck to him
December 19th, 2018 at 1:00 PM ^
Good luck against everyone but Michigan, young man.
December 19th, 2018 at 1:07 PM ^
Same, I can't understand people who get mad at these kids
December 19th, 2018 at 1:23 PM ^
I explain it to my wife this way - it's not personal; it's football. If a recruit comes here, kick ass young man. If they go to OSU, go ahead and lose every game. No shame in that - it's football.

I can't help but think of the line from The Godfather:
:-)

Maizen must be banned again if he didn’t get this thread out 1st.
Ojabo gonna be better.
December 19th, 2018 at 1:09 PM ^
Let me reiterate: players do not make decisions based on the outcome of a single game.
December 19th, 2018 at 1:16 PM ^
Sucks that Michigan missed out on him. Was always going to be a tough pull getting him out of Columbus. I think it's important to keep in mind that we already have two high ceiling developmental DE prospects on the roster in Taylor Upshaw and Julius Welschof from the 2018 class who will be RS Freshmen next year. Will be interesting to see how this turns out in a couple of years.
December 19th, 2018 at 1:21 PM ^
Well, I wanted him here and I wanted him to be great, but now I want him to lose every game he ever plays in college. Football be like that sometimes. No lucks given.
December 19th, 2018 at 1:29 PM ^
He's going to transfer to Georgia this fall anyway
I read it on the internet, so yeah
December 19th, 2018 at 1:41 PM ^
A surprise to no one.
December 19th, 2018 at 1:45 PM ^
isn't the first, won't be the last - but EVERY school deals w/the near misses, as that's the nature of the beast in the courtship of 17 & 18 yr olds
the focus is and should be on the 'gets' not those that 'got away'
'19 UM team will be even better than '18 - even w/o those graduating and leaving early ...and that's with or w/o Patterson, though I strongly suspect he returns

Dear Mr. Harrison,
Best of luck in your future athletic and academic careers. Thank you for considering the University of Michigan.
December 19th, 2018 at 1:57 PM ^
Maybe he'll be miserable and transfer to us later.
December 19th, 2018 at 2:03 PM ^
Hurts but that's college recruiting. Still have an awesome class and with the offensive weapons we have in the mix, bring on 2019 MEEEEEEEHCIGAN FOOTBALL!!!
GO BLUE!!
December 19th, 2018 at 2:06 PM ^
Everyone gets to make their own mistakes, and he made a big one. He must have forgotten that it is ALWAYS great to be a Michigan Wolverine!
December 19th, 2018 at 2:16 PM ^
Not sure you want a guy anyway who turns off so quickly at the first sign of difficulty, best of luck to the kid and all that yadda yadda bs.
December 19th, 2018 at 2:43 PM ^
He’s a great player and a good kid. Maybe he played us but I don’t think so. I think it’s very hard at his age to go against the wishes of those closest to you constantly. We have some great DT talent coming in and we can hopefully find one more that we can get. Best of luck to him.

While the result against OSU probably had a big impact, I think Meyer leaving was even bigger. I dont’ think he or his family were too fond of him, especially after the summer. And if Harrison going to OSU also means that Meyer is not in college football anymore, that’s ok. Needed that scumbag out of football.
