Maybe. Doesn't change the fact we fucking blow.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:30 PM ^
How come when we're overmatched it's a blowout??
Can't even be competitive ...
September 21st, 2019 at 2:11 PM ^
No. We will be 6-6 and watching Wisconsin lose by 20 to OSU in the Big Ten Championship game.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:19 PM ^
I couldn't agree with this comment more.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:53 PM ^
It pains me to completely agree with this. Maybe Michigan can play their bowl game at Ford Field after their 6-6 season.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:11 PM ^
They are who we thought they were...and we let em off the hook.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:11 PM ^
Yes they're average ... so SuperBowl caliber for our coaching staff
September 21st, 2019 at 2:12 PM ^
Lol yeah like Army last week, everypnr who kicks our ass are National champions
September 21st, 2019 at 2:12 PM ^
I just posted that in the game thread. Obviously Michigan is struggling, but maybe Wisconsin is just really good.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:12 PM ^
Wisconsin is legit, but we will find out how legit they are when they play Ohio St, because unfortunately they are the bar.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:12 PM ^
Wisconsin is legit. We all knew Jonathan taylor and their OL is good. But Jack Coen is a solid QB and much better than Alex Hornibrook.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:13 PM ^
Don't know what to think. They're playing good, and were absolutely ready to rock and roll at kickoff. Michigan wasn't ready to get on the bus, let alone play. UM looks so fucking bad, you can't tell how good UW looks...
September 21st, 2019 at 2:15 PM ^
They are a crap team. BOYCOTT these losers.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:15 PM ^
We are always overrated.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:15 PM ^
No. They're good, but we knew that. What we didn't know (or didn't want to accept) is how absolutely putrid our team is.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:16 PM ^
At least MGOblog got a chance to make fun of them in the "look a like" thread
September 21st, 2019 at 2:16 PM ^
Seriously. Better than we thought??? They may be good but we are one step above Rutgers. We may not make a bowl game this year. Entire staff needs to go. They can't prepare a team to play.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
What makes you think we are beating Rutgers?
September 21st, 2019 at 2:16 PM ^
They definitely do more with less. I'm sure we out recruited them over the past 5 years. They are better than advertised... we are significantly worse.
Dropping from 11 out of the top 25 this year. The rest of the schedule looks the end for JH.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:17 PM ^
Not sure about Wisconsin but we are far worse than some of us thought.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:17 PM ^
Sure, if it makes you feel better. Paul Chryst > Harbaugh for sure. Every big game he's had on the road, with the exception of OSU in 2016, he's gotten blown out. Not just lost, but blown out.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:17 PM ^
Are you serious with this post? They are a good team BUT will get crushed by OSU and may lose to Iowa. Wisconsin would win 8 maybe 9 games in the SEC this year in BOTH divisions. I watched both Utah and USC last night and they could beat this team. Michigan is just poorly coached
September 21st, 2019 at 2:35 PM ^
This is a very typical Michigan fan opinion
Which is to say, loaded with stupidity
September 22nd, 2019 at 3:52 PM ^
Classic
September 21st, 2019 at 2:18 PM ^
I don’t care if it was Alabama. Michigan hasn’t been competitive, and that is concerning. I’m not going to freak out based off one game, but not good.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:21 PM ^
You mean 3 games and 2 at the end of last year.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:21 PM ^
Dude.. this is the 3rd game. What else do you need?
September 21st, 2019 at 2:23 PM ^
If you think this is just 1 game then you're just dumb. The same problems were apparent through the first two games and they're only getting worse now that they have to play real opponents. Stop fooling yourself. This team is trash.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:19 PM ^
Our DT's....just suck this year.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:19 PM ^
Yes, they look good. Has nothing to do with what is front and center for us right now. Our team is not being prepared adequately. Somebody is going to get hurt. We have “a situation” now with Harbaugh. This is going to be an interesting week.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:19 PM ^
We should not be getting "steamrolled" by anyone...what the fuck dude? This is equal or worse than anything under Rich Rod and Hoke.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
Defense gave up in the first half
September 21st, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
Yes and we are way worse. No bowl this year. Not seeing many wins with this coaching staff. I see recruits decommitting. Harbaugh is lost in space.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
Plus I think Khaleke Hudson is overrated.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
Yes but who fucking cares?! That isn’t the point/question right now
September 21st, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
Wisconsin might be good but we are much worse than we thought we were. This whole program stinks. Always talking cute. Always talking the build up. After 54 years of being a Michigan fan I’m wore out waiting for a great team to show up.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
No, we’re as bad as some of us already knew but were getting killed for.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
This is a Rich Rod D. Maybe worse.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:21 PM ^
Obviously we aren't great
That's a vast understatement. If you still can't see that this offense is not even mildly capable then you're just choosing to fool yourself. We are 2018 MSU but with a worse defense.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:22 PM ^
They’re probably better than everyone thought, but it doesn’t change the fact that Michigan is a really bad football team right now.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:23 PM ^
No, Michigan has inferior OL and DL.
The Army game was the engine light going on
September 21st, 2019 at 2:23 PM ^
No we just suck
September 21st, 2019 at 2:24 PM ^
Wisconsin has eight four-star players on their entire roster. There is no excuse for a low-talent team like Wisconsin rolling us like a D-II school.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:39 PM ^
You think maybe they have something called "player development"?
September 21st, 2019 at 3:03 PM ^
We pay our coaching staff way more than Wisconsin and commit far more resources to football, so our player development should be better, too
September 21st, 2019 at 2:28 PM ^
Wisky is always a solid to good team.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:28 PM ^
Wisky is always a solid to good team.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:28 PM ^
Hard to say. Michigan has looked atrocious in all games this season and Wisconsin looks amazing. I’d lean toward giving Wisconsin the credit they’re due. It’s a beautiful, albeit painful, thing to watch their offense operate with efficiency.
One thing is certain for me at this point: Don Brown was a flash in the pan.
Gattis also seems like he’s just not going to work out. He seems clueless in these situations 3 games into the season.
The team is completely undisciplined, so that has to lead back to coaching.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:28 PM ^
This post is ridiculous. How bout Michigan is much worse than we all thought. This site is full of homers (understandably so, I am guilty myself). Lets just look at this logically.....This is the worst combination of offense and defense from a Michigan team in the Harbaugh era.... BY A BIG MARGIN.
This team compares with the worst RR teams and Hoke teams in terms of execution and being prepared, but is more talented. It is an absolute embarrassment to come out as a power 5 team, one with the reputation and money invested like Michigan has and get blown out. Does not matter who you are playing or if the other team "looks badass". We should never be getting "steamrolled" by anyone with the resources put into this. This is an absolute joke.
Hopefully this lit the hot seat on fire.... guess who wasn't the savior? Can you remember a more poorly prepared team with worse game plans? I can't. At least RR would occasionally move the ball.
September 21st, 2019 at 2:34 PM ^
No, after a bye week too. Our coaching staff is woefully inadequate and at this point it is no longer fair to the kids. There have been a lot of alarm bells going off, transfers, odd personnel decisions, weird press conferences, player and coach double speak. I think now people will hear them loud and clear.
