We're entering uncharted waters in the NCAA tourney

28 wins would be the most we've EVER had entering the Big Dance. Previous best was in 1986 with a 27-5 record. Quite a regular season for sure

It helps that the schedule is longer than it used to be (in the pre-BTT era we'd play 28-30 games before) but yeah, that's impressive.

Just DOMINATED the #1 and #2 NCAA tourney seeds from the B1G. Seed us wherever because it will be wrong and we don't f-ing care. Go Blue !!!

I think the rest will be good for them tbh. They can pick up right where they left off and be well rested. Belien and the coaching staff has done an incredible job of preparing them.

Michigan just keeps getting better and better. I truly feel this is Beilein's finest coaching job.

On to the tournament!

I dont think anyone would have predicted 28 wins back in December. The growth from this team has been one for the ages. Fantastic coaching and developing and fantastic attitude and work ethic by the players. This has been a very satisfying season.

They just had a grueling 4 days to win it all..now REST..Enjoy it..and becuse of the longer period they can enjoy this for a few days and have plenty of time to rest and prepare

Not lose @Northwestern.  Not lose vs. LSU, which would have set up a matchup against Notre Dame instead of Chaminade.

I'm worried that there is going to be a 1000-post, expletive-filled thread here next Sunday.  This team has been great the past few weeks, and the predictive systems love it right now -- but the rest of the country still has a week to catch up, and those ugly losses will stain the résumé.  The RPI -- which is certainly more friendly now than it looked like it would be a couple of weeks back -- has Michigan at #13 (high 4 seed)... and, again, that's with other teams having a chance to play and pass Michigan.

Incidentally -- if you really want something to be angry about -- if you took Alabama A&M, Jacksonville, and UC Riverside, and you replaced them with Miami (OH), Ohio, and Bowling Green... assuming Michigan still won those games, they'd be 8th in the RPI.

He has gone through this when he was at Richmond and Canisus. As well as teams like Gonzaga and Witcha St do it every year. Great attitude. Same mantra... Anyone..... Anytime..... Anywhere....

when the season started I was telling everyone this team would have 28 wins going into the tournament. I don't know why anyone is suprised by this. /s

The week off can help the team rest up, work on offense and FT. Our only weakness going into the tournament is our FT shooting. I hope this can improve during a full week of practice.
