So where does Michigan end up in the bracket?

Whether UNC or MSU is the 1 seed in the Midwest, I think the other one gets the 2 seed there.  Tennessee gets the 2 seed in the South, probably with Virginia.  The question is whether Michigan goes to the East in Duke's regional or West into Gonzaga's.

There's also a chance that Virginia stays as the #1 seed, which they have earned based on their resume.  3 losses, twice to Duke and once to Florida State, who is probably a 3 seed.  Virginia is also, I think, #1 in every one of the committee's metrics.  I wouldn't mind going to the East to face Virginia.

If we are paired with Gonzaga, the 3 seed should be Florida State.  If we go elsewhere, it should be LSU, since they can't go to a region with Tennessee or Kentucky.

Looks like a region with Gonzaga, Michigan, Florida State, Texas Tech, Marquette, Buffalo, Nevada, Syracuse.  Northern Kentucky or Montana in Round 1, either Buffalo or Nevada (or an upset) in Round 2.

Ik we all will, but even with all the doom and gloom can we please support our team full throttle in this tournament? Last year, that was a huge advantage in the elite 8, so please let’s get behind them and fake believing if you don’t

Given the disappointing end of the season, a 2 seed in Gonzaga's bracket isn't a bad draw. MSU's path seems a good deal tougher than ours.

I will take this and run though Nevada is a pretty good team assuming we make it past Montana.

Pliable day path. Sweet consolation prize.

Ugh I'm 90 minutes from Des Moines ..but I love sitting at home watching all the games!!!

Would truly love to boo Sparty too...maybe act like the Trice mom while they shoot free throws

About as good as we could’ve asked for. Gonzaga is very beatable, and MSU gets the honor of having to fall on the sword against Duke. Still would’ve rather beat them, but a nice silver lining anyway.

Odd coincidence of having to play Montana twice in consecutive years, but the good thing about it is there is plenty of scouting on them already from last season.

I'll take our draw.  People have chirped about Nevada on this blog all season so we might get to see how they would fare against Power Five competition.

A bit worried about Texas Tech, if they get hot with 3s and we don't shoot as well.  I like our match up against Gonzaga much better.
