Silent Verbal & a Welcome Back?

Submitted by Crazy Canuck on

Saw these on twitter this morning and have yet to see anything on here about them.

I can confirm that Michigan does in fact have a silent verbal. Also, get your "welcome back" signs out.

Interesting... Especially cause it's from a Ohio fan. pic.twitter.com/RvoMufrzW6

...and the seeds have been sown this weekend, and I am pretty sure the effects will be felt before signing day (only Brady Hike signs 8 commits at a single basketball game). More importantly, if you think flipping one of the top running back recruits in the country, from one of the top Michigan feeder schools, that was previously committed to Michigan, and is presently committed to Ohio State is a bad thing...well then you are on the wrong blog...and might be following the wrong team amigo.

6.0 ypc

5.9 ypc (at USC)

5.7 ypc

4.8 ypc

And these were done on one of the worst offenses in the B1G and in college football in general.

Gordon and Coleman were at 7.5

Ameer Abdullah was at  6.1

Ezekiel Elliot was at 6.9

Jeremy Langford was at 5.5

To state that UM has a stable of "star" running backs is perhaps disingenuous.

But your post and the attempt at arrogant sarcasm is exponentially worse, and quite frankly, it makes you look like an ignorant ass, which may have been the goal, I don't know.

Bottom line: While it could be better, UM is fine at the RB position going into next season, and is set up for that position to be further down the list of positions of concern.

Can we please not make anything coming from UofM Diehards a major point of a post or use him as a source in any way until he actually proves he can be mature and reliable? He was banned from this site for a reason.

I don't think the mods have actually come out and said anything coming from him is banned, but he himself as a MGoUser has been banned...multiple times...until the mods eventually told him to stop creating new usernames and not to come back. He's 14 years old by the way.

What is the purpose of a silent commit? To take more visits and still have a spot? Maybe have a press conference on signing day still? Just wondering thanks.

In this case let's say Clark was the silent commit. Well, he still might want the free trip to SoCal, but he doesn't want to risk losing his spot to one of the other TE's Michigan recently offered. So he silently commits to save his spot, telling JH he is just going to UCLA for the vacation, so lets keep it under wraps till after. Then it just becomes an issue of trust.

You're the biggest spaz I've ever met. No for Weber but a yes for Clark? NO DIFFERENCE. Michigan needs talent, we need the best in state talent, and i don't give a damn if Weber was committed to OSU at one point, it's his future. He can doubt himself. Michigan can't be petty, bring Weber home and keep him there.

I negged you and it actually added a point, so you went from negative nine hundred ninety nine thousand three hundred to nine hundred ninety nine thousand two hundred ninety nine.

Someone should do a little troubleshooting on that, or you'll never get to a negative million!
