Lets commence 3 weeks beating scarlet

LOL,

 I can't remember…

LOL,

I can't remember ever seeing so many "teal circles" for "Trouble Spots" on a Fee Fi Foe Film before.  LMAO!

11/05/2018 - 11:24am

So those are the only two…

So those are the only two?

No one else has expressed how they will address the current climate there?

They will get my votes as that seriously has to stop and Engler as to go back into a hole somewhere.

Just hope it's not lip service and they are serious about it.

10/30/2018 - 10:07am I thought I had heard there…

I thought I had heard there were some candidates that were vehemently opposed to Engler and what he was doing in that position. sorry, must have misunderstood.

10/30/2018 - 7:58am  Yes, but the one viable…

Yes, but the one viable point made was that he was appointed. Next week are elections, and I am sure they have some MSU Board members up for election.
I would imagine there are candidates that wish to change this. (Not sure who they are though as am not in MI) Everyone back in the state should be voting for them or at least be voting all the current members that allowed this culture to happen out.

10/19/2018 - 4:48pm Wasn't Jalen Perry one of…

Wasn't Jalen Perry one of the recruits Chase talked to as he left the field during the ABC broadcast last saturday? I think it was Chris Fowler who said, "He does it all. He had an outstanding game and still takes the time to recruit future Wolverines."

09/28/2018 - 12:45pm  Have been looking for the …

Have been looking for the "Hello Cornell Wheeler" post. Have I missed it? Can't seem to locate it.

  I'd have preferred the  qwwqtrewyutwayghtipt;ukl.;/

01/25/2017 - 4:19pm Eneasi Kavapalu 6'7" 310lbs

Believe we were looking at other guy in this photo also, Eneasi Kavapalu 6'7"/310lbs. I believe he was class of 2017, guess it didn't work out.

Anyone know what happened to him?

12/08/2016 - 11:22am Stitch the Mitten ?

Stitch the Mitten ?

12/08/2016 - 11:15am I'm sorry. I really am. But...

I'm sorry. I really am. But... Grand Rapids' established nickname is "Furniture City" because more of the largest office furniture companies are based there.

12/07/2016 - 1:34pm Smith, Ruggs and Collins

"...Again, there are three committable Alabama offers out at the receiver position: Smith, Ruggs and Collins...."

Several southern recruiting sources seem to echo that same sentiment. They currently have 2 committed WR's in 2017 ( Jerry Jeudy and Tyrell Shavers ). So I doubt losing Nico Collins to us would still push them to recruit Tarik hard if they get Smith and Ruggs as that would give them 4 in this class.

12/07/2016 - 12:53pm I too.

 I too!

However, I may be reading in something but it seems that Leatherwood and Isaiah Wilson are mutually exclusive OT's. On the bright side, I'd love to have both but either one in addition to Filiaga, Ruiz and Banks committing would make our 2017 OL haul one of the best ever.

If somehow TJ Slaton ends up in this class too, I'd put it as best in the country. Imagine operating behind that line. (Looks at Najee... /s)

11/30/2016 - 11:23am Alabama then OSU

Yep, I want to be ranked 4th at the end, then beat Alabama, and go on to a return engagment on a neutral field with OSU for the National Title!

I don't want to play WMU. If the Broncos lose, would rather it be to someone else.

11/30/2016 - 12:27am Upton U.

What school is Kate? I want her!  /s

11/30/2016 - 12:23am Go Buffs!!

All it will take is a Colorado win in the Pac12 championship.

11/28/2016 - 9:56pm Yea, too bad there wasn't a

Yea, too bad there wasn't a ref close by.       /sarcasm

11/21/2016 - 11:47pm  Totally agree, it especially

Totally agree, it especially cracks me up when it's said by an OSU supporter, like half of the state of Ohio EVER went to OSU.

Sparty I can understand as they are peeved that more Michiganders don't prefer them over us. I was a UofM fan long before I ever went there.

11/19/2016 - 11:57am  Was trying for the life of

Was trying for the life of me to figure out what school UCS was?  UCal-Sacramento?, UConn-Stamford?, Utah College of Sciences?  /s  (Until I clicked the link for the story, duh!)

11/19/2016 - 11:42am Lose?, No Snooze

Actually, sounds more like.. "Lose, No Snooze."

11/18/2016 - 6:29pm OL question for Steve

Yes, Question for Steve...

Does he think recent flip of OSU lineman to Colo and Wills committing to AL will affect UofM recruiting favorably or negatively, or neither? (Do we have OSU to worry about with Filiaga and Wilson?)

11/18/2016 - 3:12pm 34-3

Liked it better when we were pitching shutouts at the half, so...  UM 34 - IU 3. (IU with a late quarter field goal and 2 more for Kenny Allen's increased confidence.)  /s

11/18/2016 - 1:29pm Demar Dorsey?

Speaking of "What ever happened to..."  Anyone know how Demar Dorsey ended up?

Last I remember he went to GRCC, and then thought I heard something about Hawaii after GRCC dropped program.

11/17/2016 - 12:29am +1  Dam,  he beat me to it!

+1  Dam,  he beat me to it!

11/16/2016 - 11:34pm too soon.

I see what you did there!!

11/15/2016 - 11:38am Awesome timing, JKP!

Yup. Sure brightened up my week, JKP! Awesome timing on your part. Think I have a new favourite future player!

11/10/2016 - 3:23pm  CFP Selection committee

CFP Selection committee states they don't take margin of victory into consideration. So assume that is why op didn't.

11/04/2016 - 4:20pm Chose?

What? He Chose, Really?.. I thought sparty was always represented by an ass?

11/04/2016 - 4:14pm After trying that on...

I Like It!!    We da B1G fish!!

11/04/2016 - 4:01pm Vivio's

Good idea! But would rather substitute one of the Bloody Marys from Vivio's!   /s

11/04/2016 - 3:04pm  The #1 rule about Friday

The #1 rule about Friday Cruitin' Update is you don't talk about Friday Cruitin' Update!!

11/03/2016 - 10:05pm Bobby Petrino to LSU.

Bobby Petrino to LSU. They'll love him in the bayou and his offense on the field.

11/03/2016 - 9:50pm Houston, already in the area.

Houston, already in the area.

11/03/2016 - 10:56am Dylan McCaffrey. Need that

Dylan McCaffrey. Need that glue to help recruit receivers. ALthough I am very interested in what Vilain and Samuels could develop into.

11/02/2016 - 1:38pm wait for it...

... OR over Penn State.         /rimshot

11/01/2016 - 12:07pm Wiltom Speightlucksberger

 Wiltom Speightlucksberger ?

11/01/2016 - 11:55am He "gets" us and little brother

Yes, loved the jibe at MSU, but view it more on how accurate and semi-objective Gerdeman is. Ok, he is a buckeye fan and writes for a buckeye blog so there is some (AND I believe well-heeled) favoritism there. But I also believe he "gets it". He gets how we think and many times his columns contain lines that I think he has written solely for Maize and Blue fans and they will double me up with laughter. Don't think he looks at in a jealous vein at all but rather an accurate assessment of UofM fans (and Sparty fans for that matter) not just now but throughout the years. Hell, we almost didn't want to acknowledge or accept the "Paul Bunyan Trophy" initially thinking there was no rivalry there. Mike Hart pegged it accurately and succinctly, they are and always have been "Little Brother" in our eyes. Yes, we should be beating them consistently and keep them in their place, but don't hurt them TOO much in fear they'll get discouraged. lol

Personally, I still believe Sparty is less of a rival for us than ND. I much prefer to clobber the Irish when we play them than MSU. Sure beat MSU every year should be the norm, but put a whoopin' on the Irish and Buckeyes every year,... then you have ideal seasons in my book. lol

10/31/2016 - 1:09pm Except Little Brown Jug

It is my understanding that the "Little Brown Jug" is ceremoniously "taken" after each game, because it was originally understood that we had to "come and take it back" after leaving it.

10/31/2016 - 12:51pm Mealer and Falk know!

Thanks, WD. Guess if anyone should know it's some of Meeechigan's finest, Elliott and John Falk retrieving it from the Green locker room at the closing moments of the game. Sounds like the final answer for me.

10/31/2016 - 12:35pm Sure is!! Wilton deserves

Sure is!!

Wilton deserves B1G Offensive Player of the Week also. Hope he gets it!

EDIT: Nope, looks like they gave to PSU's Barkley instead.

10/31/2016 - 12:23pm Really? Which brother?  :P

Really? Which brother?  :P

10/31/2016 - 10:52am  Agree, I came away very

Agree, I came away very impressed with how good he looked handling the pressures and standing in the pocket to complete, waited for the play to develop, or get away throws to avoid being sacked. Appeared to keep his cool, make good decisions, didn't seem rushed, and even took the hit when it was needed. Only saw one truly bad throw/poor decision on that wheel route.

10/31/2016 - 10:18am  Yes, there have been several

Yes, there have been several articles concerning this in Michigan papers.

If anyone wants to read further you can do so here: Ohio State loss likely doesn't change trajectory for Michigan football

(Apologize in advance, it's a Freep link, but it was the first I could find.)

10/29/2016 - 2:32pm Speight

Speight

10/24/2016 - 12:27pm  Plus, given the presently

Plus, given the presently listed contestants, why would they give a #1 seed any sort of disadvantage.

Fiesta is in a "Pac12" state, so why would they have a #1 Alabama go there to face Washington, when their ranking as #1 earns them the right to go to Peach Bowl in neighboring state.

10/24/2016 - 12:09pm OSU is now our biggest fan!!

But imagine being some porta-cooler Buckeye,... They HAVE to root for us to win and go undefeated until THE GAME!

If we lose, then a win for them in THE GAME is worthless because PSU wins the division.

However, we root against OSU, because another buckeye loss and we winthe  division winning out to THE GAME. We own the PSU tiebreaker.

10/24/2016 - 11:51am What rivalry?

 Rivalry?  What rivalry?

OSU is still a month away.

10/20/2016 - 3:41pm Sure this isn't of East Lansing?

You sure this is South Bend? I can't see a large lake to the north.

I believe you have a picture of East Lansing here.   /s

10/20/2016 - 3:37pm Wolverines not thrown under the bus

Also Donovan, note how the Wolverine coaches don't throw their players under the bus to cover a game plan issue! They own up and don't blame their players!
