Sierra Romero Does "What the (Blank)?" with the Players' Tribune

Submitted by EastCoast Esq. on

The Players' Tribune has this series where they give players short questionnaires with random questions. The players fill them and out and then the Tribune puts the results online (with the athlete's handwriting). They have done a number of these with Michigan football players.

This time, though, they profiled Softball Goddess Sierra Romero.

I love her answer on the rule she would change.

Love Steph. That being said Katie Ledecky is more dominant at her sport and Crossfit champions like Rich Froning and Matt Fraser are better athletes over more varied events. Apples and oranges a bit I know. Something fun to talk about though. Steph is the greatest shooter ever.

I will admit to laughing at the answer to the strangest thing ever yelled at her by a fan, although at the same time, I can't imagine what that is like to be a college athlete - a college athlete, let me repeat that - and have someone who may not be joking yell that in your direction. That had to be all sorts of awkward.

I had to follow the link to Dawkins'. Best on our team _ Dunking _ . I can't lie, I do enjoy his over-the-top dunk-fails unless we lose the game.

I knew it would be the mercy rule. But I expected her to want them to lift it so they could continue pounding teams into the ground, not to lower the number of runs. Idk, Sierra, if it's too much lower you're stifling legitimate potential comebacks.
