Shane Morris to wear the famed #7 jersey, J.J. McGrath #46

Submitted by DISCUSS Man on

Per twitter. Quite a number for QBs-

Leach

Henson

Henne

And who could forget the great Spencer Brinton?

EDIT: MOAR jersey numbers per twitter. Incoming kicker J.J. McGrath will wear #46. Really great to see a large contingent of local kids coming to Michigan. Morris from DLS, McGrath from Lutheran North, Hockey's Evan Allen from Henry Ford.

In fact, OSU QB Cardale Jones uses it to express displeasure in the education system. As in "I didn't come here to go to no class, I'm a football playa" ...or something along those lines.

I have a away 7 from the the last season with Nike. Had Gardner sign it. I was bummed when he switched numbers. Anyone have any good suggestions on a place that could be a Gardner name plate on the back and look authentic?

How did Mallett flame out?  He left because he had a chance to go home and play for Arkansas. Where he did well enough to now be Brady's backup.  I'm not getting into the RR discussion, Mallett was likely gone anyway.

A Long time ago there was this guy, maybe a couple hundred years ago, he was fighting, I think it was around Philadelphia--he was left handed--and his arm was facing toward New Jersey you see. And that's south. So then naturally they call him south paw. You see? South jersey, south Camden, south paw. You know what I mean.

I'll bet Morris will be happy he gets to wear the most beautiful uniform in the country and not those nasty high school uniforms. Purple blows, man.
