Senior Bowl results

Watched the entire game.

Shea played well and made some strong plays driving the team in a first half comeback with a 75 yard TD pass and FG in two minute drill to tie score 10-10 at halftime.  He was 6-10 and 131 yards passing for the game's best QB stats.  Hebert won MVP which was a full week award.

Uche was awesome and showed his very high draft position.

Bredesen barely came out and was a stud.

Hudson was solid all around at safety and special teams play.

Metullus never came off the field and performed well.

Great showing by the winged helmet.   Go Blue !!!

Nothing published. But my count was 2.5 sacks, 3 QB hurries, 5 total tackles.  He was routinely double teamed which is the ultimate respect from an NFL coach.  Draft stock should be sky rocketing based on game and week’s practice results.

Wow that’s huge. If he has a big showing at the combine he could definitely work his way into the third round, maybe even late second.

I’d have a hard time seeing him make the first round though, because he doesn’t have the imposing physical stature or elite athleticism that teams look for with their first round picks.

This spiraled quickly.  There are enough plays over Patterson’s career to back up whatever your position is on his talent.  He’s made some great plays and some terrible ones.  Realistically, I don’t think a low impact senior bowl changes any of that.  He thru the ball 10 times, completed 6, had a terrible INT (your definition of a no impact INT is way off).  He had a great 15-20 yard throw back for that TD that went 75 yards.  Like others have said, his performance probably couldn’t have been a more accurate summary of his career.  Great moments and “what was he thinking” moments alike.  I definitely hope he finds success on the field and off. I truly believe he gave us his best effort and that’s all we could ask for.

Shea was disappointing at UM relative to expectations, but I don't remember him doing this much at all in his two years here. I definitely don't remember him "sailing" passes as an issue, it sounds like you're just trying to harp on him for no good reason

Come on dude.  This was a review of the Senior Bowl game not Alabama bowl game.  Just stop shitting on Michigan players. If Shea did well so why can’t you agree and stop digging up fucking troll shit.

Try to be polite.

You became quickly vulgar with someone that didn't agree completely with you.

Lighten up. Smile. It's a beautiful Saturday in a country where we have refrigerators and cupboards full of food. Most of the world doesn't have that. Smile.

I'm not hating.

So because someone doesn't agree completely with you they are trolls and haters. Few people will agree with your opinions on anything.

If some people's opinions bother you, just scroll past them. Why get angry and vulgar?

Have you ever considered that your anger and name calling is trolling?

Shea tends to “sling” the ball. He doesn’t raise enough in the L position to get to a “true zero” or pronate the hand enough on follow thru. He actually seemed to have better arm mechanics as a HS senior.

It’s tough to master. Brady changed mechanics over a long period to create an almost unique reverse C motion. The 2nd level throws require good mechanics and I bet he develops his ability ove the next couple of years.

He also left out that Metellus got absolutely roasted on a TD pass by the South where he was in single coverage. Like, crispy. Looked like he was playing OSU out there, and was utterly familiar.

Like, I saw the highlight of the play (it was a highlight of the QB on twitter) and saw the winged helmet, initially thought it was Lavert Hill... and realized that it had to be Metellus with how he got annihilated. And, on replay, there he was.

He was burned clean.

Watching it again, though, I have to agree that I overstated my case. Thought about editing, but that would be dishonest given the length of time the post was up. "Crispy" usually means that there is quite a bit of space. Metellus was well beaten, but still in the neighborhood.

I mean, he is who he is. That was definitely Metellus in a matchup that would beat him.

actually metellus sticks with him very well and its a great throw - the problem is that metellus makes virtually no movement to defend the pass, none.  its as if he was told to stick with his guy but that he'd be penalized if he made any aggressive move to defend the pass or even give a hint that he had a clue that the ball might be coming.  that is the frustration.
