Most modern music is crap and you kids should get off my lawn, but Bruno Mars is awesome.  Saw him on Saturday Night Live a couple of times and that guy has mega charisma.   He's like a cool, non-pedophile version of Michael Jackson.

We just received a letter from the MDEQ.  They are saying the lead levels are testing consistently below the 15 ppb level, I think at 7 ppb.  Last I heard they were 1/3 of the way through replacing 18,000+ lines, and they expected it to take over a year, so in the meantime they recommend we keep using our faucet filters until they are done.  There are also several sites around the city where residents can get bottled water. I think there may be 8 or so, they are reducing that down to 4.

In January levels were tested below the federal limit. In places the levels continued to test higher, but according to mlive earlier this month 97% of residents have safe drinking water.

lol It is

People like Bruno who get their information from false news sources still think their faucets are pouring out brown sludge.

The water issue was resolved in January. They still have some piping to replace but led tests are normal in nearly every part of Flint. Theyve already recieved well over $100,000,000 from Federal and State governments so money isnt an issue.

This money Bruno is donating will just go into the pockets of corrupt politicians.

Wish more butt rich celebrities would help the less fortunate in this country.  And do it without making sure they have a camera and reporter there to see it...

Very cool...

Very sad that Flint isn't even close to the only city in this country with a water crisis.

I'm not sure if this is Wikipedia level stone-cold 100% FACT (joking), but I did find this interesting - no politics, it's just a video:

Flints water was tested in January and deemed to have led levels on par with other cities of similar size with aging infrastructure. They were notified that they could even remove their water filters in most areas

Snyder has ordered everyone starts paying their water bills again because the water is fine to drink in nearly every area.

At this point its just laughable the amount of money being thrown at Flint

They are well well over $100,000,000 and this is just counting cash not all the money from bottled water, filters, etc. Trump/Obama gave them a grant for like 100 million. Snyder allocated tens of millions from state funds. Then all the other donations.

This Flint water issue is so played out. The city of Flint will play the victim FOREVER. Everyone has given them the money to fix whatever issues they have. Its time to move on

It's probably the money that he didn't use on the budget for the "What I like" video.

I kid, I kid. I knew I liked the guy for some reason.

Anyone who declares the problem "resolved" needs a reality check.

The Flint Community Schools still does not have drinking water which has tested as safe. The staff and students have been drinking bottled water for going on two full school years now. This is not at just one or two buildings, but at every building.

The effects have already been seen in school aged children, not to mention what may happen over the next few years to those babies born from pregnancies which occurred before the issue was uncovered.

Belittling the situation only serves to detract from a generous humanitarian gesture.
