Dudes summary of the game is spot on. I give it to him, especially on the interception at the end of the game. Trayvon Henderson being wide open on the sideline and McCord always forcing it to Harrison Jr.

You know, I wonder who else would realistically want to walk into the meat grinder of OSU expectations when they would call for the head of someone who is currently 56-7 as head coach, a record after 63 games that some teams would almost literally murder to achieve?
Someone probably would. Coaches are odd people largely.

Don't forget that Ryan wasn't outcoached by Jim Harbaugh; he was outcoached by Sharrone Moore, the interim coach.
Moore made those gutsy 4th down calls and got them all to go. I believe Day opted to punt on 4th and 1 in their first possession. Yes, it was their side of the field but Day did not hesitate to punt. He played conservative nearly the whole game.

I think the worst was when they had 2 timeouts left and let the clock run down to just try a field goal before half. That was really bad.

Who would OSU get that is realistically an improvement on Day?
Urban is not walking through that door. In terms of winning percentage, he is an all-time great, with only Rockne and Leahy ahead of him because they coached in an era when Notre Dame was a juggernaut.
Swinney and Saban are the two active coaches with winning percentages in the top 25 all-time, and I don't see either leaving the South.
The recently retired Chris Petersen seems content, and he has been a Pacific Northwest guy his entire coaching career.

Marcus Freeman is the obvious answer… but they won’t go after him because he lost to Day.

Firing Ryan Day is not going to make Ohio State football better. They still have a little bit of Urban recruiting momentum left. If Day goes, then they're taking a big step back, and rebuilding from square 1, instead of the slow decline.

Since that one was blocked I offer this OSU dude I first started watching when MSU beat OSU/Meyer. While a homer he has a pretty fair take on the game, and gives credit to UM even though he’s in the depths of despair. His recurring theme is “I don’t know…” He’s the kind of guy I’d enjoy a beer with and I feel kinda bad posting it after his plea for no UM fans to watch.
