After Harbaugh seemed to question Michigan's academic commitment with it's athletes (I believe it was in 2007, right around when he came on board at Stanford), Hart publicly went on record blasting Harbaugh over his comments and then said something to the effect of he hoped he would never coach at or come back to Michigan ever again.

I'm guessing the two have spoken about it and buried the hatchet since then, but who knows? Either way, I doubt Harbaugh would let a ten year old spat get in the way of hiring Hart if a) Hart was interested in the job, and B) he was the best man for the job.

Go Mike Hart.   I hate ND (and Saint Mary's) with a passion, but ND is a good institution and a great opportunity for Hart.  It's not like he's going directly from coaching at Michigan to ND or some other school. *cough* F Mattison  *cough*

Gary Moeller was a co-captain at Ohio State in the sixties. For that matter, Bo was an assistant to Woody Hayes.

Good luck to Mike Hart. I hope his is the only unit that plays well against Michigan next year.

Going to be tough work for him after his kids get the crap kicked out of them in the Big House this Fall.

Love Mike Hart - but to hell with Notre Dame.  Always.

Out of all the issues with this teams offense last year, the running backs were not really one of them. Comparing to Indiana's stats and taking out anyone who wasn't a RB or FB, Michigan, while rushing the ball had .285 yards more per carry as well as 10 more TD's for the year. One RB on Indiana (Stevie Scott) averaged 5 yards a carry while for Michigan beat that average including three running backs that saw the most carries (Hidden, Evans and Wilson).
