The CT scan isn't "negative for concussions ". CT scans are done as part of the concussion protocol to make sure there's no major brain swelling or internal bleeding or skull fractures.

So bottom line is he's still probably got a concussion, but maybe not something more serious. Just speculation , but is be very surprised if Peters was cleared to play for OSU. The good news is if it's just a concussion, he could probably play for a good percentage of bowl practices and maybe play the bowl game. Far better than a broken collar bone or something that'd knock him out of bowl practice or spring practice.

I don't believe that CT scans can definitively tell you a person had a concussion.  Definately show brain bleeds and swelling.

I would love to see Harbaugh tell everyone that Peter's is out for the game.  Keep the press out of practice.  And if Peter's was good to go at the beginning of the week, he has the whole week of practice under his belt.  Start that kid.  Go Fucking Blue!!

I heard a report that he was warming up early in the 4th quarter yesterday. It's possible the thought process was that he could come in if JOK went down... maybe. Speight needs to at least be approved for contact by Wednesday to have a chance to play. I would not bet on him playing. If Speight and Peters truly can't play on Saturday, I'm wondering who the backup is to JOK. Is it D-Caff? If so, that would be pretty interesting. I even think there is a small chance he gets the start on Saturday. JOK gives us little chance to win.

Regardless of the RS, I can not imagine Harbaugh throwing a Freshman QB into the lion's den like that. Assuming Peters is unavailable,  I would expect this week it's 1. O'Korn; 2 Speight (if he can go); 3 Malzone.

I could also see a scenario where they put Speight or Peters in for the first few series, handing off or max protecting, just to throw Ohio State off, and take some of the pressure off of O'Korn.

Unless Peters or Speight is healthier than they seem, Malzone will get some snaps with the 1's this week.

to see that - Having said that - this team lacks fundamentals - lack of development in certain areas - good coaching is not always evident - poor/conservative play calling

Sad to say - JH is the right coach - just not happening - 2016 was the epic fail - Had UM won against OSU and Iowa and made the CFP - 2017 as a semi reloading year would have been more tolerable - well - that didn't happen - Meyer owned Harbaugh in CBus - JH choked in Iowa and the rest is known

Go Blue - Hoping for the miracle win - just don't see it at this point

If a hot seat exists for JH at Michigan. That could be a positive thing or if could be a negative... Yet to be determined.

OSU will have no particular motivation (besides it being The Game and all). In other words, it's all lined up for us:

- home field advantage

- OSU already locked into championship game

- OSU has beaten us too many times in a row

- UM season just a few plays short of being really good - leads to chip on shoulder?

etc.

We've got all the little things lined up for a flat OSU performance and a great UM performance - so, can it happen?

I realize what a ridiculous fan I am when I am thinking: it might! But that's fandom.

Swayze...Cmon Bro!? "OSU won't have any particular motivation other than it being 'The Game'". Dude, OSU is looking forward to trying to humiliate us. To crush and demoralize. To send a clear message that if you want to come to the Midwest to contend for National Championships you go to Columbus and not Ann Arbor. They are looking to keep a stranglehold on dominance and send all of us a mental "mind f*ck" that things are never gonna change.

After rewatching JT Barrett against Iowa and Oklahoma i can see how Michigan keeps the game close. It’s the obvious issues on offense and the possibility we have O’Korn starting. Now if O’Korn starts I’m comfortable that he knows the entire playbook. He made a few nice throws last week and one was a bad drop. If Peters plays he is also a liability as he stares down his receivers on straight drop back plays. Maybe Speight is ready in secret and they have been prepping him over the last few weeks.

One way or the other if Michigan cannot throw on first down successfully they will struggle running the ball and keeping Ohio State honest. Last years game plan specifically protected Speight with three step drops and quick throws and Michigan was in rhythm. Everything you do in a game like this must be off schedule and breaking tendency.

I think Michigan has a snowflakes chance in hell to win this game but it will take bad JT Barrett and a complacent defensive game plan for Michigan to keep the game close.

is the best DL Michigan will face all year. They have 5-7 legit NFL players on one line. Michigan OL isn't all that good in pass pro so that's basically weakness vs. strength. Throw in JOK's inability to keep calm under pressure, you have a recipe for a disaster.

Was told last night that Brandon Peters was indeed knocked out on the field, but CT scan was clear. Was alert w/ a headache, flew home w/ the team.
