Joel Klatt sums it up perfectly

The amount of Twitter muscle being flexed by #MichiganState fans this morning is baffling...you won on a dropped punt snap

Michigan had MSU down 23-14 at one point and wonder WTF is happening to us.

Michigan fans should be proud of their Wolverines.

With 5 games left to play, three on the road and two at home, with Admantium spines in all of them, I would not be surprised to see some decisive wins by Michigan upcoming (read: curb stompings).

Resurgent Oklahoma State would need to beat Oklahoma 66 times in a row to have a .500 record against the Sooners.

Recently dominant Baylor would need to beat Texas in the next 48 contests to draw even in the series.

So, Michigan State's doing pretty good. It will only take another 35 straight victories to tip the scales back to even.

About sums it up.

MSU likes to think of itself as the Sparta of Michigan. They don't want to be like their Athenian Ann Arbor neighbors. Sparta had its period in history where they were on top and were the alpha dog in Greece. Well, if you go to Sparta these days, it's a heaping pile of rubble. It's an afterthought. Meanwhile, Athens is still chugging along.

Very happy to see the support. I've been thinking about the end of that game all day as I'm sure many of you have, but I can't imagine how Blake and the other players/coaches are feeling. We are on the rise there's no doubt about it. Sparty's days are numbered.

I'm lucky to have Spartan fans who are mostly reasonable, but then I also have to live with the juvenile ones as well.  It's too bad the better team lost, but I'm just hoping Penn State and/or Nebraska can pull one out against them while UM just continues to get better and better.

and the flight had about 10-12 people with UM gear and about 2 with Spartans gear. To the credit of those two, they didn't mouth off... which disappointed me. My canned response was going to be "It took a once-in-generation fluke for you to beat a Harbaugh-coached Michigan team. Enjoy it, because you're not going to get another one for a while."

If that didn't work, I was going to say

"Oh yeah? Well the jerk store called, and they're running out of you."
