Coan doesn't seem like more than a game manager to me but he doesn't turn the ball over so I could see him winning the job at ND

Pretty good landing spot for him, tbh.
High 4 star coming in, an existing 4 star on the roster and a 3 star on the roster. Definitely can compete to start Day 1.

The existing 4 star was a true freshman this season and has 2 career completions. The incoming high 4 star is enrolling early, but didn't have a senior season as San Diego pushed football to the winter season. Not a lot of experience on the roster. Is Book definitely gone?

I don't think this is much more than a "safe" bet for ND in case they don't have anyone else. Maybe 8 or 9 wins plus perhaps a bowl win. No one is scared about ND after this move.
