Harbaugh: Two players have left

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Harbaugh said today Michigan is under its 85 scholarship limit. Asked if anyone has left. He said two have but ‘I’ll let them announce that if they want to.’

Harbaugh says he hasn’t named an OC yet. Hasn’t decided if he will or won’t. Staff will go through more self scout this week and next.

The growing consensus among the thousands now speculating - if indeed you can actually talk about "consensus"when we're in the speculation phase - are Kareem Walker and either one of Kekoa Crawford or Eddie McDoom. That seems to be the guess of a lot of people at this point on Twitter and other totally unofficial sources.

No idea why is name keeps coming up from time to time. He is one of the most committed non starters there is. Mcdoom and Crawford will not finish at Michigan.

Like many of us, I assume, I have  been hoping  that McDoom's demonstrated pass catching  ability jumps to a much higher level.  He did make some good catches last year.  I have to wonder if that lack of production is on him or on the QBs.  Its not like anyone else has had a great career in the meantime to show him up.

I've been guessing Wheatley every time someone says a guy will transfer that will disappoint us.

Don't get me wrong, I want nothing more than to see Junior catching TD's & knocking LB's into next week... but dad's gone & the TE room is pretty full.  He needs to get healthy, but with everything else I wouldn't be surprised.  Disappointed, but not shocked.

Don't bother yourself with my typo. Focus instead on upvoting yourself with your numerous accounts. I think you should be up to 600 in no time. Good work king of all trolliness. All bow and behold the mineral king.

Yep, and he was just brushed off by our local source. But in our new era transfers aren't seen as some betrayal anymore. Some guys transfer to find a good fit. According to our local source, two guys who were known to be transferring made the France trip. They presumably participated in spring practice. These are guys that know they're gone, that others know are gone, finishing the year out as part of the team. I think that's great. Good for everyone.

Or, alternatively, you could stop clutching your pearls and just leave the thread.  If you don't want to be part of the speculation, then don't be.

I mean, good lord, this is a blog (primarily) about Michigan sports and we've just been told that two players are leaving the flagship Michigan sports program.  Of COURSE we're going to speculate.
