Not sure I'll watch. Honestly not much from last season I want to relive. If this board gives it decent reveiws, maybe.
yeah... Nothing I want to watch more than that drudge of a season again. /s
doesn't strike me as a man who takes a lot of risks. That said, there is no way he allowed the success of this project as a recruiting tool to hinge on the outcome of 12 football games. When I saw the trailer for this, it struck me just how geared the footage was to recruits. You're seeing a heavy dose of the academic support folks, the amazing facilities, the family atmosphere ... in short, everything Michigan has to offer student-athletes. I think anyone expecting to see friction between Drevno and Pep, or gain any meaningful insight into why the offense struggled will be disappointed. I expect it to be a brilliant recruiting tool, but it will likely be too fluffy for hardcore Michigan fans wanting to see how the sausage is made.
I love it as a way to learn more about our players than how fast they are, how well they cover or identify blocking patterns. Humanize the players a bit. Get a feel for any struggles they have, what drives them, how coach handles them during teaching moments and how they handle those moments as well.
With 2018/19 being our last season with the likes of Rashan/Chase, getting to see more of them isn't something I want to pass up.
Eh....it's pretty clearly implied from Harbaugh's and the players' behavior/statements before, during and after the 2017 season that they were not expecting anything quite like an 8-5 season.
Based on the below article (apologies for the Freep link) Michigan had a right to review and request changes, but no right to sign off on the final cut. That said, I'm sure the staff exercised restraint on the situations where the cameras were allowed to follow and what was kept behind closed doors.
In addition, Michigan's contract outlined its right to "review" and "provide its comments" on the "second rough cut" of each episode. The university had the right to request edits based on factual errors, student privacy policies, "any depiction that would constitute an actionable defamation or false light depiction of the University, the Team or any University Individual," any unknown legal violations, confidential team information regarding football strategies, plays, personnel evaluations and recruiting information.

It's weird the article says, "Mark Harmon of NCIS fame" rather than the son of Tom Harmon, Michigan football player (or at least mention that).
Wow, how did I never know this until now? That's crazy.
If we had a QB who could throw the ball we would be 11-1. PSU is the only game we would have loss. So, there's hope next season that one of our young QBs will complete over 50 percent of their passes.
You may be right about the QB scenario, but if that were true, we would have been in the B1G championship, and likely would have won that and been in the playoff. So 12-2/13-1/14-1 would have been possible outcomes. But I digress. Technicalities. A solid/boring QB will win this team many games.
Trent Dilfer
Kyle Orton
like that?
At least there is not a biopic starring Al Pacino about our disgraced, long time coach. Hashed Tag Pedo State.

I think this will have a strong positive influence on recruiting...can't wait to watch!
The football will just be a background in this series. It won't be about football.
If you don't follow Michigan football, you probably won't be able to tell much about what kind of season we had one way or the other.
