Jim McElwain to replace Dan Enos spot?

According to Brandon Justice, Jim McElwain was on Michigan’s campus today for a job interview. Most likely an assistant. Via Twitter.

With our current O structure, and all the guys we have on staff making gobs of money, many think this is bad? People's expectations are crazy. He was great at Bama, great at CSU, and won division 2 of 3 years at Florida. Seems like a solid resume for a position coach!!

but, what if harbaugh is just waiting til after signing day to let go of Dreadno and company? Could it be that the hirings he has made earlier, Warriner, Enos, and now possibly McElwain, are just a prelude to whats about to happen? I'm not saying its realistic but, it sounds plausable. If he fires drevno, McElwain takes over as OC, Warriner takes the OL. And, if they end up firing pep, he would hire maybe a legitimate Wr coach or another coordinator position coach, or maybe they don't even fire him and drevno was peps problem. But, at this point the answers are still up in the cosmos of Jimmy's brain and we are all confused as hell.

Jim McElwain would be a better offensive coordinator than Michigan has had in over 20 years and he's not even being looked at for that. He's being looked at for a lower position. He would be an A hire. And the shark photo is of a retired police officer from New York.

Word on the street down here in Gainesville is that he quit on the team before the credit card scandal went public and became real standoffish with the players and he put the fan base in a bad light saying the coaches and players were receiving death threats without providing any proof to the authorities or the university, more or less using that as an excuse for being a shit team. Does that sound like someone we want in our program? No thanks.
