I'm a New Yorker. I'm a Giants fan. I've been a Giants fan since the Pisarcik fumble (I bought really low on that one). I've only been a Michigan fan since my admission to grad school through Rackham in 2010. So let me ask you: if Les Miles was hired by Ohio State, would you suddenly start rooting for the Buckeyes BECAUSE THEY HIRED MILES? No. Of course not. My Michigan fandom doesn't extend to the pro teams they play for.

will end  up losing this game and end any remote playoff chance they may have had. Now we will be stuck with Caldwell for another year or two since Martha will veto any firing. Pathetic. I just wish these Ford's would sell this team. I would like to start over with a new franchise.

I am typically not a conspiracy-theorist, but I do think that the NFL is fixed...and I believe the Ford Family is on the wrong side of the leverage. Nothing else can explain the calls that have gone against the Lions time after time for years. The only decent thing to do in that situation is to sell the team so that the fans can watch a team that does not have the powers that be working against them.

The Falcons seem to be on their way to a loss and a tough matchup with Carolina next week, and the Lions can't even handle sub .500 teams on their schedule.  What's the point of cheering on this crapshow when they can't beat down bad teams.

Also, WTF are they running the ball?  We can't run the ball.  The QB makes a billion $$$.  And we're running the ball on 1st and 15 and 2nd and 18.  Brilliant.

This is probably addressed, but I only follow the Lions as a secondary team. They lose tie-breaker to Falcons, so they need Atlanta to lose out and they need to win out?
