I've been in the Hormel kill plant near Minneapolis... Yes it is absolutely horrible. There's no such thing as a "humane kill." Until you've been through a large scale kill plant you have absolutely no perspective on the subject. I invite you to try to see it once. Then let me know how you feel about eating meat. This whole Ron Swanson man eat meat bullshit is just so very lazy. And it's not very masculine honestly.

Heading to the in-laws with the family. Not going to lie. Have the game on my mind more so this year because I get to take my 13 year old son to his first game in the Big House. Try not to tear up seeing him walk into that stadium and see our boys and those other ugly colors on the same field. Been a longtime lurker on this blog and I'm thankful for all the good reads to date and am proud to be part of this fan base. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families and forever Go Blue!!

Not losing my house last night. MGoWife and I woke up to cars honking and violent knocking on our front door. Ran outside in the undies to pull the car out of the driveway. Neighbor's house totally on fire. Firefighters came and put it out before it spread to our house. All of our neighbors made it out alive even though they didn't have working smoke detectors. GET THEM CHECKED PEOPLE!!! That and my awesome MGoFamily too. Go Blue!

Invite a wolverine to dinner, and there's no clean up chores. A hungry wolverine will eat the entire turkey, bones and all. Just keep the dogs and cats out of sight.

Great football weekend to be from Michigan. I have many memories of going to Lions games on Thanksgiving - usually resulting in losses. Go Blue - Harbaugh needs a big win this weekend!
