Don Brown is still a great coach, but he is being dominated here. I don't blame the offense. They were never going to be able to score more than 28 points. Once the defense gave up that many points, you can't just change the whole scheme at halftime.

is the pass game coordinator.

O.k., he is dealing with a limited QB and an o-line that is no better than mediocre at pass protection.

But his play designs/calls are making a challenging situation a lot worse.

Stay classy Ped State. All this love for PSU. Makes me sick. Can't understand the revenge shtick these commentators are talking about. Do the pedophile victims get revenge?

4th and 11, I form play action? I pray to God JOK accidentally called the wrong play there. If that was what the coaches wanted to run, I just lost all faith in the offensive play calling forever.

I assume we end up 8-4. Last year was really the year we needed to get to the playoff. Had a very senior laden team that was clearly talented (lots of NFL picks) and then we fucked it up with some shit offense against Iowa. That still stings because last year's team was special.

I know the O line didn't give us much time on that 4th down, but that should've been a shotgun 4 WR set without play action. Who is the play action fooling in that situation? It's a waste of time.

And that's some of the stuff people get upset about with the play calling.

about the D today.

1.  On the field too long and a little demoralized watching the offense flail.

2.  Credit has to go to PSU offensive coodinator.   He has a very smart game plan and has created receiver mismatches with motion etc. all night.

The gameplan was to try and run the ball, give O'korn some easy throws, and try and be more balanced. That was assuming a good defensive performance though, that goes out the window with this horrid defensive performance. The offense looked ok when they could run the gameplan they wanted.

Has done decently tonight. Held the ball too long a couple of times but he’s made good throws to which numerous receivers have dropped easy passes. Can’t blame O’Korn on this one. Defense shit their pants and the Oline sucked yet again
