Is this somehow ESPN's way of feeling less dirty for having Gameday at State College?

"Yeah, yeah. There was a child rape cover-up here for decades... but we let black dudes play!"

Didn't Michigan face this question about black players back in Ford's day?  I recall Ford refusing to play, along with a bunch of others, unless his black teammate (roomate?) was allowed to play against some southern school.

Fuck Penn St.

I had a dream last night that Alabama lost to Prairie View A&M 35-31. Not sure what that has to do with anything, but Brady Hoke will be a head coach again come Monday morning.

I am seeing a lot of signs trying to make fun of Jim Harbaugh.  Let it never be said that he doesn't occupy a nice split-level in the minds of many a PSU fan.

Is a stain. Dude is scared for tonight. Also anyone notice how few fans they have at gameday? The zoomed out view made it look pathetic. Surprised more didn't come.

But I woke up this morning fully confident in a Michigan win. Am I delusional? Not sure. But I just think that our defense is gonna throw off the PSU offense big time, and that our offense is gonna do just enough to pull off a victory in Happy Valley.

I just hope I can stay awake to see it!

I feel confident too.

Exact opposite of how I felt for MSU this year.

It's just one of those intangible things.

This is just being presented as too much of a Penn State coronation for me.

I don't do coronations in sports.  It's never that easy.

If we punch Penn State in the mouth early, they will freak out thinking about last year and collapse.

Just hope by some miracle Wisconsin doesn’t lose before we get them. They’re another awful offense in the 4th best conference in America. I’ll take a second top 5 win though.

Just run ball like Wisconsin. Hornibrook sucks. Noodle arm. Just running the ball gets them wins, replicate that against PSU and hot couple of passes for the win

B1G west. Garbage. Ugh. I hate current big10 alignment - some one tell me why are divisions split like this? Can't we all protest ala Dave Brandon ousting and get them to re-align ? Annoying idiots and Delaney

Every conference has unbalanced divisions.  How strong has the SEC East been?

In the end it doesn't really matter.  We're going to play OSU and MSU every year no matter the division, and then if we're in the East we'll play PSU and if we're in the West we'll play Wisconsin on top of that, plus the BTCG if we win the division.   We're never going to get a cake schedule in any alignment, unless OSU falls off (fat chance).

The Big Ten East is the best thing that ever happned to Michigan.

I live in the DC area and also go to NJ / NY frequently.  We are viewed as a defacto "local team" in these recruiting-rich areas.

Because of the Big Ten East, we play in this area every year.

Guys like Gary and Peppers and Nordin used to just automatically go to Penn State.  Now Michigan is on their radar.

We don't want to go back to the Leaders division (or was it Legends?) for some fake notion of competitive balance, and just be an afterthought.
