Tennessee vs. Georgia Tech

The 25th ranked Tennessee Volunteers are playing the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta at 8:00 eastern time on espn. The line is -3 Vols. Here's hoping the Vols and Butch Jones get embarrassed.

are they bad? No. But do they have any realistic chance of winning the ACC or making a NY6 bowl in most years? No. They'll get there once every 5-10 years with a little 10-2 season, but their average ceiling looks to be 8-4. They're in an awkward position of not being bad enough to make a change, but never being actually good

This morning the U of Tennessee band practiced at my daughters high school field.  Our director is a U of T grad.  We had to go and check it out, just becuase it was a cool behind the scenes look at a major band. It was cool, but they are no MMB!

I unfortunately will have Rocky Top in my brain from now until...well, forever.

When GT is doing what they want they are fun to watch. Why anyone willingly schedules them is beyond me. Hope they continue to make Tennessee look like the keystone cops
