The all white road unis are better. Way, way better. From the photo posted on Twitter it looks like the shade of maize on the helmet is slight different than that on the unis. The dark blue undershirts aint working with the jerseys either. Are they leftovers from Oregon? West Viginia? I think maybe I'll turn the color off on my TV. Unless Coach Harbaugh and staff wear maize khakis. If life gives you lemons make lemonade. But leave my alma matter's uniforms the fuck alone!

Maybe the all maize is a nod to our Fab Freshmen in this year's recruiting class?

Could actually be pretty cool if they outlined the jerseys' trim and numbers like the Fab Five classics and went with the all black shoes & socks combo.

Seriously, looking at these again & considering they will be in motion & on my tv for a very long time, I may have to figure out the settings to go black & white.  Old school is better than retinal damage.

Does anybody still have those eclipse glasses?

It's worth considering that Florida may be wearing blue jerseys and white pants. That doesn't create a lot of contrast against Michigan's road all-whites...

If there's a time to go all-maize, this is probably it.  Generate more contrast against a blue and white team and go bold for a neutral-site game.

I clicked through to see them, and was expecting BLUE pants... but now I realize why the pants are maize.... all maize is quite attention getting.... akin to the Fab Five yellow jerseys....  and I think WVa has yellow tops with blue pants.    well done Jim..... believe it or not, if we have a great season (and we will), these all maize jerseys will draw ALOT of good attention.

I don't hate the concept, but this new Nike maize is too dark and orangey.  I don't like it.  It was like an overcorrection from the Adidas highlighter yellow (which is actually closer to what the maize always used to be).  Take a look at those fab five all maize jerseys compared to this new one.  I think the orangey maize proponents are getting their maize memories from cheap knockoff apparal.

The thing that strikes me the most about this picture is that these uniformz just simply are not Michigan in any way.

Obviously from memories, nostalgia, and as a diehard M man I feel a connection to seeing the team in Michigan uniforms. These uniforms are such a disconnection from that. Even all of the other alternates (except bumblebees) didn't do this to me as much as this one.
