And this is exactly how I was expecting it to go. Thanks for fulfilling my expectations.

Good choice. I rotate between the two based on the performance of the team. I get superstitious

I love your screen name. I might just make that my touchdown celebration chant. People will hate me.

Depends on your demographic. My now wife and I used to go to Charley's when she was a student there and it was a blast.

I'm a big Ashleys guy but not once the actual game starts.
Once the game starts I would wander over to Conor Oneills. If youre good enough to hire Mike Martin as your bus-boy/bouncer, you're good enough for me. Lots of good scenery as well.

Decent amount of TV's everywhere, cool vibe, good beer selection.

And delicious nachos.

That way when I get really angry I don't look like a complete ass in front of a bunch of people I don't know.

But since I rarely have the time or money to travel to away games each year, I prefer my couch next to my wife. Feels more like a home game that way, and she's great at dealing with my yelling and celebrations.
As a student, I would do Charley's or Arena, but nowadays I don't think you could pay me to be sardined in with drunken crowds. Best away experience ever was at Charley's though - watching Michigan and Trey Burke take down Kansas. What a momentus occasion!

The Golf course, tailgating if in Ann Arbor; my preference is always at home in my basement with the 105 inch screen and HD projector..

I don't mind just hanging out in my family room for away games, even though I am some 20 miles from downtown Ann Arbor (it's also the cheapest solution, and there's a liquor store about 1000 feet from my house, so it works out), but if I am in the city during the game, Conor O'Neill's or the Session Room tend to be two places I gravitte towards.

I've never been in the place, but I know several people with very strong opinions that Skeeps is the best place to watch a football game in A2. I'm skeptical. Or, maybe, skeeptical.

I always liked the South Quad basement but I guess that's not an option anymore. I remember watching Florida State - Miami 2006 down there. I believe that game holds the ESPN record for highest rating.

Not downtown nor a ton of students there but legendary with a great atmosphere.

Pretzel Bell's basement is actually really cool. Love Ashley's too.
I'm a little surprised the University isn't doing anything for this game, especially considering there are only six home games. For the Alabama one we had a Big House viewing, although that might have only been students.
Could be cool to open Crisler for this.

Every seat has a great view of multiple tv's, the decor is all Michigan, food is good, it's mostly locals, and you can avoid downtown. You will find the occassional lost Sparty but the owners and patrons are big time Michigan fans.

The Arena is always a good time. Recent remodel makes it better and somehow worse, but still fun.
August 15th, 2017 at 3:25 PM ^
since its Sparty owner didn't submit his employees michigan withholding taxes to the state? Sparty owner now in prison. Arena closed.

Ashley's or Charley's.

watching and screaming with the Liveblogs. It's a lot of fun. It's like a tourettes convention.
