Unpopular Opinions NEGBANG

Submitted by 5th Van Tyne on

We've been missing a good ol' negbang for far too long. I want to hear your hottest takes on why you're afraid for this upcoming season or why you may despise delicious Chick Fil A sandwiches (if that's even possible).

I'll start by saying that Onwenu's weight worries me to no end. IIRC he was supposed to drop a bunch of weight before spring ball, but that never really materialized.

Whore mouth!!! Tread lightly fellow mgoblogger. Albeit this is a neg bang, there are limits to what you say. Bolivia is not a place you desire to be!!!! Your sarcasm is duly noted and negged.

Wilton Speight is worse than John Navarre Magnum sized condems do not get the job done any better than regular ones. They are made for people with low self esteem

Whole Foods is good for the prepared food and hot/salad bars. Also pretty good selection of beer. Actually buying groceries there? Nah.

Also I don't really associate hipsters with Whole Foods. I guess the employees are kinda hipster-ish, but the average customer is a wealthy, kinda milfy 35 y/o soccer mom. Who is completely oblivious to anything around her. Get your cart out of my way REEEEEE.

Wilton Speight sucks.

A loss to Florida would give us 3 straight losses. Elite teams do not lose 3 straight.

For the record I think we beat Florida. And I realize those 3 losses would be to 3 of the best teams in the country. But if you want to be elite, you find a way to beat the elite.

People who think college players shouldn't be paid have no rational basis for that argument and instead just don't like change and are secretly jealous that someone might get something they couldn't possibly achieve.

I'm going to be disappointed if Speight is the starter this season. While I believe he has plenty of potential and is ballsy as hell (4th down OT in Columbus), he has weaknesses that are really unlikely to be repaired in such a short time. Last season he threw a lot of terrible passes that were lucky to not be intercepted. Those passes were a combination of poor decision making and a weak arm. His deep ball is inaccurate as heck and his short to medium range passes are no different. I see him limiting an offense that is filled with young talent.

in Michigan suck ass. GM is in bed with AC Delco, who makes shitty auto parts. I will never buy a car from any of them again.

I don't find the threat of being "sent to Bolivia" to be intimidating and I am not sure how much my life would change if that were to happen to me at some point. Also if I am willing to concede that everyone here does in fact drink a more obscure microbrew than I do can we end the pretencious "drinking threads"

Happy Gilmore is a funny movie. I hate Draftagetton. (I don't care enough to look up how they spell it.) There should never be an OT season. I am an angry man.

and we should feel fine about him starting this year. I especially love his Big Ben-like pocket presence.

He tailed off toward the end of the season due to that injury he suffered vs Iowa.

That said, why can't we all be grateful that we have QB depth again? We should feel great about whoever starts, and great about whoever the backup is. When was the last time we could say that??
