|07/31/2018 - 6:32pm||Just follow the maize, but…||
Just follow the maize, but honestly I often enjoy just walking around and hanging out with opposing fans as well. A little good-natured ribbing is hilarious provided you had a few game-day beverages
|03/26/2018 - 1:54pm||Is there Tailgating?||
Unfortunately it looks like my student tickets won't allow me to stay for the Kansas-Villanova game, so looks like I'm in the market to find a bar packed with Michigan fans after the first game.
In a perfect world, this bar would also be packed with wealthy alums who happen to pity the poor boy who is spending the last of his savings in order to drive 3000 miles to watch a game for 2 hours.
|03/25/2018 - 2:49pm||Your ticket has to match ID||
Sadly, you won't be able to enter the arena unless the name on the ticket matches your name. A ton of students aren't going to be able to go because they aren't season basketball ticket holders
|03/25/2018 - 4:26am||I’m gonna go all the way||
Going with three friends and am planning on driving the 22 hours from Ann Arbor to SA. Once in a lifetime experience to have your team in the final four when you’re in school. I’m not going to waste it.
|03/04/2018 - 10:53am||Big Win||
I'm going to predict a 172-10 win for the good guys with Zavier Simpson tallying a triple double (points, assists, and blocks). 60 point game for Austin Davis off the bench
|03/03/2018 - 4:29pm||Hot Buttery Biscuits!||
We're elite? We're elite
|01/26/2018 - 10:05am||Here||
He has already moved into his office here from what I’ve been told.
|01/09/2018 - 12:04pm||We Love you Ace||
Football is just a game, get better buddy
|12/11/2017 - 1:10pm||I have a dream||
OUR QB TROUBLES ARE A THING OF THE PAST
|11/22/2017 - 12:41am||He wanted to come||
He apparently was looking at us hard but he has some serious beef with a couple players currently on the team, and when that got out our coaching staff decided the risks outweighed the rewards.
|11/09/2017 - 10:12am||Ha!||
Last I saw of Markley, it's still quite the bare, ugly place you describe. Unsure if it could possibly be uglier or barer, but that's not a building I'd want to live in
|10/31/2017 - 4:28pm||It's noise||
One of my father's friends has a son who works on Georgia's recruiting staff. He said that Georgia is nowhere even close to where Ole Miss was and he doesn't know of anything dirty in the slightest. Georgia's recruiting hasn't gotten better since Richt got fired, we're just reaching into the region more (so we'll lose more recruiting battles against them than we used to). He said they just floored Isaiah Wilson and changed his mind, nothing more to it.
|10/28/2017 - 5:07pm||I swear||
I think that the legend of Grant Newsome's playing ability increases with every passing day. In a week people are going to start comparing him to Orlando Pace I guess
|10/24/2017 - 4:18pm||You're absolutely right||
If we had Cam Newton instead of John O'Korn that would have been the difference in the game
|09/25/2017 - 12:47am||No I actually have insider information from Counterstrike||
I heard that Crawford and Harbaugh got into a seriously heated debate about who was at fault during the War of 1812. Crawford was so angry at Harbaugh's claims that Britain didn't desire to enter the war that he actually faked an injury on the field to get back
|09/13/2017 - 11:43am||DOODLEBOB||
MEE HOY MINOY!
|09/11/2017 - 3:36pm||Cmon man||
Right now I just want to legitametely beat Ohio State before I even think about a national title
|08/20/2017 - 2:23pm||This is going to shock you...||
It's actually Jahlil Beats, not jungle. A friend showed me one day and it was the most inconsequential mind-blowing moment of my life
|08/12/2017 - 4:13pm||I think you mean||
The Second War for Independence
|08/08/2017 - 3:12pm||No Chance, but...||
Hot damn that would be fresh
|08/07/2017 - 9:12am||I think that Californication||
I think that Californication and One Hot Minute are classics as well. Stadium Arcadium could have been a classic if they'd cut one of the discs out and made it a normal album.
There's an unpopular opinion, almost all double albums are too long. Just cut the album back and release the rest of the songs as B-sides, there's nothing wrong about B-sides!
|08/06/2017 - 10:41pm||Swans||
I've been listening to a band called the swans lately and they are really awesome. Some of their songs stretch to like half an hour with much of that being build up, but when the track gets to it's climax it PAYS OFF.
Unpopular opinion? I think that John Frusciante (formerly of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. If Anthony Kiedis was a better songwriter and lyricist, that band would have been one of the all-time greats instead of where they currently stand. Kiedis ruins that band. Even though Blood Sugar Sex Magik is an incredible album, I think they could've made 5 or 6 classics if they had someone different leading the band. Listen to Frusciante, Flea, and Chad Smith jam and tell me differently.
Radiohead got too cute on KOL, but they've veered back in track and I trust their future stuff will blow me away yet again.
|08/05/2017 - 6:16pm||Wrong||
We all know damn well that Denard's most effective position is as QB under center
|08/05/2017 - 6:09pm||Isn't Rutgers our Homecoming this year?||
I'd imagine they try to put the worst game imaginable as our homecoming so that everyone can drink and be merry
|08/01/2017 - 6:42pm||That DPJ route...||
Peoples-Jones has had my attention for the day from that route alone. I can't get over how smooth and explosive that simple route was
|07/30/2017 - 12:54pm||Best fishing||
I've found that the Lamar River Valley provides the best combo of wildlife viewing and fishing action. If you want to go to an area that won't be fished much, I'd suggest the small parcel of Yellowstone in Idaho might be the most beautiful part of the park.
|07/27/2017 - 6:03pm||Welp||
Looks like our dreams of Aubrey Solomon playing wide receiver won't come true.
|07/14/2017 - 4:18pm||Gus not announcing March Madness is a tragedy||
Gus Johnson is fine at announcing football I guess, but I feel it's wasting his talents.
|07/13/2017 - 11:00am||Look out for student tickets though||
Tickets in the student section require a student ID or a validation sticker. Anything between 27-33 should be avoided at all costs
|07/07/2017 - 11:02am||He linked back to Brian's column after the Maryland game||
"That's where we are right now, fighting a losing battle against the spreadsheet people. Jim Hackett may be a nice guy and vast improvement on Brandon, sure. Not much has happened to indicate that he's anything but another spreadsheet person making the columns add up and importing what passes for creativity at other places."
Damn we were in such a low place three years ago. We had no idea Hackett was actually Michigan Jesus in disguise.
|07/04/2017 - 3:04pm||Glad he has a chance to continue his education here||
If you aren't able to play the sport you love, at least he's able to get a free education at the best university in the world
|07/03/2017 - 3:14pm||Coaching Changes might be the tipping point||
Even though we lose three starters, there's a chance that the addition of Greg Frey to our coaching staff will improve OL play to a level we haven't seen in a loooong time.
If it's true that we'll be spreading our offense out just a little bit more with Pep Hamilton in tow, our Offensive line will be put in a better position to succeed.
I think it's ridiculous that some fans think that Speight has hit his ceiling as a starter. His ceiling is doing what he did against Maryland and Illinois last year to Ohio State and everyone else we play. I think Speight has the ceiling of a Heisman finalist with the coaching he has around him. A Harbaugh QB is almost guaranteed to be an NFL draft pick, and I think that will be the case with Speight as well
|06/19/2017 - 2:18pm||9 in ONE game||
Michigan had nine TDs against Rutgers in the steamrolling last year. I had the same thought as you until I checked the box score.
|06/14/2017 - 5:24pm||RHCP love||
Hillel Slovak from the original incarnation of the band, he knew how to play funk and I wonder where the band would have gone if he hadn't died.
John Frusciante is one of my all-time favorites, but he's been making electronic house music for the last couple years (waste of his talents).
Jim James of My Morning Jacket is absolutely unbelievable
|06/14/2017 - 5:16pm||Never mention that film ever again||
Rocky V never happened ya hear me!
|06/02/2017 - 12:24pm||I might be a homer||
Almost the entirety of Radiohead's catalog consists of songs that require multiple listens. I hated them for two years because I listened to Kid A once, but now they're my favorite band of all time.
|05/31/2017 - 12:31am||Not only is Des cool...||
He also always remembers to stay in the blue!
|05/26/2017 - 12:50pm||Ahhh Ten||
That entire album was made for the purpose of driving fast with your windows down and the volume up
|05/24/2017 - 12:26am||They're working out for teams||
I'd assume they're just going to the last possible moment to see if any teams give them a guarantee.
|05/22/2017 - 12:28am||It's over||
Ford has won the automotive title. All we can do is watch
|05/16/2017 - 10:34am||I'd have to think they're somewhat young||
I'll guess it's someone like Devin Bush or Chris Evans, as they are people who probably haven't quite gotten the hang of college yet and are prominent players on the team.
|05/15/2017 - 3:20pm||YouTube video||
Guy named Supa Hot Fire who will rap battle anyone and everyone and always come away victorious.
The man has bars for days.
|05/03/2017 - 12:39pm||The depth is key||
I think we could be just as good as last year if all of our players stay healthy (lol). We had a ton of depth last year and were able to weather the Clark and Mone injuries, I don't think we can do that this year. Hopefully everyone understands the defense by OSU time and we could be in for some fun.
|04/25/2017 - 5:08pm||Call me Crazy||
I KINDA think that Simmons' game looks a lot like Trey Burke's from his freshman year.
Pencil us into the Final Four Folks, I see no possible way my predictions could be wrong.
|04/25/2017 - 1:36pm||Late response but whatever||
I've fished at Three Dollar Bridge dozens of times, my only problem with it is that it can get a little crowded during the summer months and it's tough to find a good spot. One of my personal favorite things to do is park a car at Reynold's Pass (the best fishing spot on the river IMO) and then walk from there downstream all the way to Three Dollar Bridge (where you should park another car). It's about a 4 mile hike, but you get access to spots on the river where you're the only person around for a mile.
If you're just as much into scenery as you are into fishing though, I'd reccomend making the trip up to Glacier. You might not catch a fish all day, but you'll never leave that place disappointed.
|04/23/2017 - 10:26pm||Snake River is dope||
If you're not one for commercial fly fishing, you might not like West Yellowstone. The entire town is a giant overpriced tourist trap. The fishing is great in the area, but I'd reccomend finding someplace a little more remote (cabins half an hour from West Yellowstone that are both larger and cheaper than anything you find in West Y.)
|04/23/2017 - 3:14pm||Fly Fishing is where it's at||
Blessed to have fly fished the Madison River in Southwest Montana for the past decade or so every summer. Nothing beats the mix of scenery and fishing! I like to use a Sage XP rod and whatever flies are hatching at the time. Worst thing that ever happened to me was a barbed hook to the palm, had to hike 3 hours to the nearest fly shop to get that poor sucker removed.
|04/11/2017 - 1:58pm||Glacier||
Nothing beats the Going-To-The-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. The scenery will make you weep tears of joy
|04/04/2017 - 1:13pm||Masters is fantastic||
I like to sit my ass on the couch and watch Masters Sunday in its entirety. Masters Saturday has come to be the best nap of the year for me every single year. Something about Jim Natntz' croning on about the beauty of the grounds just gets me.
|03/16/2017 - 11:44am||It's Lil Yachty||
I know somebody in the MusicMatters club. Believe me, I disappointed in their "biggest concert in Michigan history" moniker they're billing this as
