I would've much preferred to see us take Reuban Foster if we were going linebacker.
He reminds me of a Linebacker version of James Harrison. Just a beast

But with how crazy this draft has gone Im not so sure anymore. It seems tons of defensive talent has fallen. Hopefully Foster is taken before Pit picks or else they might go for him to bring some of that grit back to their defense

Am I the only one who thinks Ohio State's secondary was overrated after Clemson and us put up tons of yards on them.

We had 310 yards of offense 3 tunovers (2 picks).
Clemson worked them but they still had 2 picks.

I just find it strange that a team can have three first round picks in their secondary and get picked apart by a guy with a hurt collarbone and then get absolutely shredded in the playoffs.

Their secondary was the only reason they were in the Michigan and (for a stretch) the Clemson game.
Their were a flawed team, but their secondary was excellent.

Yeah. They kept Watson in check and picked him off twice as well. They just gave up a ton of rushing yards because the offense went 3 and out every drive. Would've lost by 50 with an average secondary.

A lot of people said that about Taco...let's be honest, he was nothing but a pass rusher until this past year. It's still his strength, but after 4 years of Mattison...if you can't beast in run support, you just aren't a good football player. What Mattison did with that kid is unreal. His last 6 games were almost Allen/Garrett good. He was unblockable late in the year.

Engram feels like he'll be a solid WR, but I always wonder why guys who barely play TE are still listed as it. He's going to be a WR in the pros, so saying he's a TE gives the false assumption he'll be even an adequate blocker.

He may not be a WR either...they could use him as a TE and motion him out. Put him at FB and motion him out. They're probably going to do everything they can to get LBs matched up on him, but he'll rarely run block.
IMO, all teams should use that mismatch type player.

Sure, the Giants will try to get him matched up with LBs, but it's already a team with a lot of guys who need the ball and I'm not sure a guy who doesn't block is the best for a team that saw Manning get sacked 21 times.

I said claims. He is innocent until proven guilty. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken into account.
