Michigan Air Jordan 31s for sale on 3/7 and they're perfect
Finally. Air Jordans.
SneakerNews.com is reporting that the custom Air Jordans the 5 Jordan schools get for the NCAA Tournament every year will potentially be on sale on the date of March 10th.
OT: FontMan JoeMSports with the scoop. $160 on 3/7.

Now I gotta figure out if $160 makes sense. Been out of the shoe market for a while, but maybe that's just what a great looking shoe costs these days.
February 28th, 2017 at 11:42 AM ^
To me it doesn't make sense because I'm not a colletor or wear sneakers. The only time I wear "atheltic" shoes are when I go to the gym.
February 28th, 2017 at 11:34 AM ^
I like more simple designs so take off the "GO BLUE" on the heel and then they are perfect.
February 28th, 2017 at 11:37 AM ^
Great Minds! Totally agree. Makes them too corny.

The only thing I dont like about the shoe is the GO BLUE. I would prefer a block M or have the GO BLUE slightly smaller and I would consider buying a pair.
February 28th, 2017 at 11:36 AM ^
I'd definitely buy -- except for the huge GO BLUE on the heels. I don't need acutal Michigan Ms and GO BLUES on the shoes (Except for the inside / soles), just make them maize, blue, and awesome.
February 28th, 2017 at 11:36 AM ^
Those are pretty dope. Not a fan of the "GO BLUE" on the back though. It just looks tacky. Otherwise they're swwet.
February 28th, 2017 at 11:37 AM ^
Don't really like the "GO BLUE" on the back - although it is at least team-specific.
February 28th, 2017 at 11:41 AM ^
Except a 50+ year old dude looks like a moron in them, and under 30 year olds can't afford them. Have at it Gen Xers
February 28th, 2017 at 12:09 PM ^
I am 51, I AM A MAN.
I'll rockem in my gym. Thanks though.

February 28th, 2017 at 11:39 PM ^
I'm 31 and I'd feel like a moron wearing them.
February 28th, 2017 at 11:50 AM ^
The bottom of those soles will yellow after time or repeated wear, which is a turnoff. However, I'm also one of those sneaker people that only wears them on a dry day when the temperature is about 60 degrees so I will now return to my cave.

Hopefully this lands us some 4/5 stars.

don't like the Go Blue on the back of the shoes. That will prevent me from buying them at all. And that's a shame, because with a block M or nothing on the heel, I would have bought them. Without the heel fonts, they are gorgeous.

Exclusivity. These will be gone in 10 minutes. They're on SNKRS, so you know it's gonna be a big sell.
I might not even get the Nike shoes I posted yesterday because I can't justify spending $270 on two pairs of shoes, one of them I'd only wear to Basketball games and during perfect weather which isn't even during athletics season when we do have it.
When we do have it during spring sports, none of the teams are Jordan so I wouldn't be able to wear them.

"I wouldn't be able to wear them"
Yeah I hear the fine for wearing Jordan to a softball game is pretty steep
February 28th, 2017 at 3:39 PM ^
get those? I mean, I'm not even talking about how do I convince my wife to "let" me buy them. I work all day on the 7th and have no chance to take breaks. What do I do?
February 28th, 2017 at 4:56 PM ^
at all. A fair price would be much closer to $100. A fairer price yet would be around $70/

I already have Michigan dunks in low and high top.
They need to make a Michigan color way for Jordan 3s,4s,5s,6,7s,11s. I rather save my money for some Yeezys.

These shoes are stupid awesome. I'll never pay that much money for shoes (NTTAWWT). The most expensive shoes I own are my golf shoes ($89 on sale).
Still, those are dope.

I've never paid that much for shoes before, but I'm all in....any idea if these types of shoes usually sell out? I'm hoping they have toddler sizes too, so my son can look fly.
February 28th, 2017 at 1:16 PM ^
These are being put on the SNKRS app which means Nike believes the demand will be high. It's hard to say with the PE's on how fast they'll sell out. Though better safe than sorry and just dl the app and try when they launch

but i'd prefer the actual 31s with the color fade from front to back. That's what made them unique.

Mr. Jordan,
My money is your money.
Signed,
Yost w/ the fresh J's.
...I will absolutely have these. I'm not one to wear jerseys (although I don't belittle men who do)...but I'll wear these shoes with my Michigan gear instead. These are a thing of beauty.
Also, I co-sign what everyone is saying about the GO BLUE. I would've prefered it be navy on navy, block M's, or just leave it off altogether.
February 28th, 2017 at 5:01 PM ^
The "Go Blue" completely ruins them for me. Would buy otherwise.
February 28th, 2017 at 7:41 PM ^
My first post ever in an apparel thread, so the signs are not trending in a good direction for my "condition".
I agree 100% though with the above comment; I would be at the store were it not for the garish "Go Blue" on the backs.
A tasteful, less prominent, skinny block M on each back (or nothing) would have been perfect.
People would be screaming "Go Blue" as you walk by if they notice. I don't need to scream it from the back of my shoes in maize. On t-shirt, maybe. The rest of shoe is very sharp, would look great with blue jeans.
at the photos with joy until the back heel shows itself. That flushed all enthusiasm for the shoes. The Go Blue is reminescent of the tramp stamp words on the back of women's jersey sweatpants, like "pink", or "abercrombie," or other crap like that.

$75 for a pair. That's what I'm willing to spend. Let me know when you've made your decision Phil
