Hopefully we do not finish second here?  If we do though, I believe JH & Co. along with the product on the field will start to turn 'the tide'!  The original MIMITW has cemented his legacy and the new guy has work to do.  For as long as the original MIMITW has been 'the most interesting' so has Alabama been to the elite footballerz of America!  I believe 'the tide' will turn!

Don't care if he comes here personally.

If someone gets that bent out of shape over a someone spelling his name wrong, what's gonna happen when Harbaugh yells at him during a practice?

Which is really embarrassing to me. So it wasn't just the spelling. These negative comments are not helpful as there is a good chance Aubrey or his mom are reading them. Besides, how do you know that current players (that we all like) wouldn't have been equally offended? I would love for this kid to come to UM. If not, I wish him the best of luck and we will all move on.

But why should a kid and his mom have to read negative comments about him on the internet. It is totally insane for people to be making nasty comments about a teenager trying to pick a college. He can go to college wherever he damn well pleases and can get upset about anything he chooses to get upset about. I would love for you to go up to this kids face and say that he is another "Chris Clark". In fact, I would love to see you say that in front of Chris Clark's face.

This isn't the internet. This is MGoBlog, it's supposed to be different from the rest of the Internet. It's supposed to be more mature and above acting like RCMB and MLive. But from reading some of these comments sadly it is not. As another poster said, get some perspective and realize what this kid says or does doesn't effect you if you are an adult with a real life. Would it be great if he came to play at Michigan? Yea. If he doesn't big deal. Michigan football and your life will keep chugging along. People getting bent out of shape by how a kid who is hounded by media over his every move reacts or by what he says really need to get a grip.

Eh, I'll take him. WD needs to get over it as I've heard plenty of emotional ramblings from him to think he'd understand (love you WD but it's true). And he definitely is not Chris Clark. Chris Clark literally committed to 5 or more schools. At least Solomon is waiting that out now.

To be fair to those - like me - who have their name often mispronounced and even misspelled to the point of being unrecognizable, it can grate on you especially if after correcting the same people several times they still can't manage something which to you is pretty fucking simple.

Take it from someone who went most of a semester in high school with a teacher who was convinced my name was "Leon". Take it from someone who almost got detention for loudly and sarcastically correcting said teacher in class one morning. How I talked my way out of discipline after telling a teacher that he had the same ability to retain basic information as my jock strap I will never know.

"Fischer F-i-s-c-h-e-r" "Oh ok. I have F-i-s-h-e-r" "No, F-i-s-c-h-e-r" "Oh so it's F-i-c-h-e-r?" "No, F. I. S. C. H. E. R." "I'm so sorry, F-i-c-s-h-e-r." "No, F-i-s-c-h-e-r" "I'm sorry, can you say it one more time?" "Ma'am I don't mean to be rude. How do you maintain your employment?" I actually had that conversation yesterday.

WD you are better than that ! We really need Solomon, and if he coems here im confident he will be a valuable player. Most importantly thats what Jim Harbaugh and Don Brown beleive.

send this kid another letter and tell him the difference between huge and big.  like the refs tonite were big wisconsin fans but not huge homers.  only big time homers.  24 free throws to 11.  thats not a big difference, but it is huge.  dont need this kid. good luck to him.

Harbaugh showing up less than a week after his wife gave birth to his 7th child and bringing his own freakin daughter along to the trip along w half the staff and this is solomon's response? If that doesnt convince him then nothing will & hes taking that $EC cash instead.

If you ask me, Aubrey is playing the crowds with this quote. This is the reason Sam has stopped short of the "gut feeling" on him, however. Michigan should be the favorite to land him regardless of this quote from everything I've heard and read.

I never thought Najee was 100%, but there's a reason for the flow of crystal balls for Aubrey to Michigan. Sometimes you have to read behind the lines with guys like him. I'm not saying I think Michigan has him locked up - I'm saying that Michigan has too many cards in his favor, similar to DPJ and Ambry before they committed, to not be considered the favorite right now. Favorite could mean 55% confidence, so that's not a guarantee for everything. And this is based off of what I've heard from Sam and other guys who have legit sources. Sam hasn't even used the word "favorite," but he's made clear that the only thing holding him back from even putting out a "gut feeling" is that the kid has been a bit wishy washy. And dude, come on, Najee had a student ID and a room number among other things. That's pretty compelling evidence. Can't blame the sources there. At some point you have to realize that kids make the ultimate decision, and that decision can change daily.

Thats exactly my point. Aside from you saying "going off from you heard and read, Michigan should be the favorite to land him. In fact all of that is just speculation. Your right when you say the kids make the ultimate decision and as of this present moment Soloman said bama has a big lead so should be taken as face value.

What Solomon said did lower my expectations, but I personally don't believe he told the media (someone he likely doesn't have a relationship with) exactly what he's thinking. Sources all over are refuting that, which is why we are seeing a plethora of ballz going Michigan's way right now.

Really boils down to whether he wants to be defiant to his mother and family's wishes. He would be the only one who wants him at Bama except satan and his disciples.
