Thoughts on where kareem walker will be on the depth chart.

OK mgobloggers we all know Kareem Walker had to sit out because of grades this year. Where do you think he will be on the depth chart next year? I personally would like to see evans get the starting job. Do you think walker could be behind evans?

Drake MF Harris!  I posted about him a few days ago, and feel I need to again.

He is Wilton Speight best friend on team, and they will again be roomates next year.

Wilton has tried to get him the ball in limited snaps

For anyone who went to his state finals game at Ford Field in 14 you most likely already know this.  I also get that high school to college is a big jump.  However in the state finals it was against D1 players all over the field. He was the most electric and top high school receiver I have ever seen minus Charles Rogers.  This kid is elite.  Offered by every school in America, and if you remember in spring 2015 Harbs was very bullish on him.  His problem: injuries, and not a lot going on between the ears. Growing up on 3rd base in GR while running around with D Booker he has made a muck thus far of his college career.

HOWEVER > Coach Fisch and Harbaugh have already started re-building their secret weapon for next year.  Loaded with 15 more lbs, and a full understanding of the offense Drake Harris will be the starting X or Y, and no one more then Wilton wants to see him succeed.

Lastly, I hate reading about Weber, in my opinion and I believe most OSU fans as well we got the better deal with Evans

I think they stick with the rotation with Higdon/Evans as option one. If Walker gets in there, all the better for us. Isaac has all the tools except leg drive through contact. He just goes down too easily.

for Walker is going to be a little too steep for him to pass up many of the backs on the roster. I think Issac and Evans will be our top 2. If Johnson gets a 6th year, he will also be in the mix. I would put Walker 4th on the list right now.

I think we're going to have at least one more year like this year, where the carries are split fairly evenly among 3-4 tailbacks. Assuming Walker is anywhere close to as good as his recruiting hype, then Evans, Higdon, Isaac, and Walker will all be deserving (not to mention Drake Johnson, if he comes back, and Taylor/Dillon/Samuels/Harris).

Pete Carroll sold it very well at USC. He always had a stable of 5-star RB's that came in and wanted to compete. Play a lot but don't get too worn down before the NFL. I think Alabama does that too, to a point. They don't have a 4-headed monster but they always rotate at least two guys and a third gets in there sometimes too. I think the combination of athletics and academics is what is gonna get Harris to flip. Not many schools can compete with that combination, and most definitely not Alabama.

When it's all said and done and the roster is full of Harbaugh's kids I think we'll still see the 3-RB rotation but there will be a clear cut #1 guy who we can lean on in big spots and big games.

I am optimistic, but also realistic.  I have complete faith in Drevno and think the O line can be as good as this year's.  Braden was average at T, but above average when he was at guard.  Magnussen was a lot better RT than he gets credit for.  Kalis....well, I am not as down on him as others, he'd be dominant for a series or two and then get beat badly once or twice, and then dominate for another series or two and all anyone would remember is how he got beat badly.  And it does not sound like Newsome being back is a guarantee.

WR and a pass catching TE are my biggest worries on O.  The 3 of Butt, Chesson, and Darboh stretched the field at the same time they made a ton of tough catches in traffic.  While we has some speed guys at WR, none of them have shown the big play ability of Chesson and Darboh.  And Butt was also a threat down field.  Love our young TEs, but we will miss Butt's clutch catches and being a safety valve for the QB.

Smith takes flack, but he was clearly our best RB this season and got a lot of tough yards.  Like what Higdon and Evans bring, but we will need a tough yards RB.

Will Hill come back for another season?  If so we are stacked at FB.

Walker?  Not sure where he fits in, but he seems more of a slasher in the Higdon and Evans mold.

The offense won't be as good next season, but Speight could be much better and not put up as good of numbers because of the losses around him.

only one for me are the tackle positions tbh

Asiasi is a beast and a better blocker than Butt

our outside WR were good, not great - Crawford and DPJ should be more than fine

center and the guard spots should be good

Speight should be as good if not better while grooming Peters

Walker plus new recruits replace Smith - we should be fine

Harbaugh
