Because Urban Meyer. Because you and I both know that Penn State wouldn't stand a chance against Alabama, and that's who they'd get slotted against.

Those Hail Mary's McSorley threw up tonight would get picked off by Alabama every single time. Penn State would be out of that game by the end of the first quarter.

Perhaps based on having one fewer loss, not losing to Pitt, not losing to us by 39 points, actually beating us (kind of), having a good non-conference road win @Oklahoma, beating WI on the road instead of neutral, curb-stomping Nebraska by 87 touchdowns, etc.

 

Also, not having a fanbase that idolizes a piece of shit scumbag who aided and abetted a child molester in remaining free for years by intentionally covering up his crimes to protect his football program is a significant point in their favor. In my opinion. It makes me sick that I have to root for the fucking Buckeyes but no fanbase is more deserving of being handed a steaming pile of shit than the Nitwits.

When most people complain about "anti-(their school)" bias...it usually drives me crazy because 9 times out of 10, they just don't want to hear the truth. The 1 out of 10 is a troll like Skip Bayless that they take seriously.

That said, she is truly the exception. She HAAAATES Michigan for some reason, I don't even know the background, but she's like Drew Sharp without trying to be funny. She was forever bashing Michigan's schedule even late in the year when we'd beat 3 top 10 teams in Colorado, PSU and Wisconsin. Then she'd prop someone else up with those same teams.

Part of the problem is just that she's a fucking idiot...I'm not even joking, she's a joke when it comes to actual expertise. At least people like Bayless and Fienbaum are good at being trolls. She's horrible at her job and her role.

She's the one person I have no issue saying, she hates Michigan. Not Herbie, not Fowler, not even Fienbaum (although he DOES hate Harbaugh because he steals attention from him and Saban)...Dinich.

I'll be interested to see if they jump PSU over Michigan at #5. That will be telling for future years.

With OSU and Michigan on the same side, both teams should be interested to see what happens to Michigan just for down the road.

Then again, if we don't lose to Iowa...we're still on the bubble with Washington right now. FUCK!

So, the Big Ten gets want it wanted and used crooked refs to get - OSU in the CFP, Pedo State U champs, and the best team in the conference in some useless bowl.

To make it even worse, Warde isn't saying or doing shit about it. He isn't even calling out Harbaugh's reprimand from Delaney. Think about that - Jim Delaney reprimanded Harbaugh and our AD said nothing. Disgusting. Makes Brandon look good.

committee, see's that we should only be a one game loss team as is Clemson; that we beat 2 currently top 10 teams and got screwed out of another top 10 win by officiating, as opposed to clemson who has no wins against currently top 10 teams, and only beat VT, presently ranked 23, by 7.

They could beat Colorado right now.   Can't imagine they would make CFP, but if they do Bama would crush them.   Have a sense everyone knows Michigan would be best opponent vs. Bama, but does seems like Washington will get in.

Agreed. Clemson keeps getting by in sketchy ways. They are 6-1 in games decided by a TD or less. Talking heads will say that is clutch or some such bullshit, but there is a mountain of evidence across all sports that winning a lot of close games is just lucky/random and not sustainable. 

 

Clemson's defense is rickety. UW hasn't played a tough schedule but they've performed well and played quite well away from Seattle with wins @Utah, @WSU and vs CO. There's no way that Clemson gets left out but if we were truly picking the 4 best teams it would be M and OSU for 2 and 3 and then UW at 4 while Clemson can go off and play PSU in the Teams I Hate Bowl.

I at least wanted the Rose Bowl. Fuck Penn State and their child molesting sympathizers. I hope USC mops the fucking floor with those fucks. I love the Rose Bowl. I watch it every year. Not this year. Fucking losers.

We're one the two best teams in the country and we're going to play in the fucking orange bowl. What a fucking waste of a season... I will say this though, we sure have come a long way. It wasn't that long ago we were 5-7... But still, 10-2 is disappointing considering the team we had.
