Some Black and Gold Friday morning MOJO.

This just doesn't feel "Over". It just doesn't feel like the Football Gods will have this travesty. Not this time. There is a wierd cloud of hesitant excitement that is almost tangible on this morning. There is a sense of optimism and despite our efforts to fight it....it's winning. The colors black and gold spark a smile on this Friday morning. When the Buffaloes from Boulder take the field and do what is most necessary in Northern California this evening....it won't be a favor per say. It will be the service of justice. There was something about Coach McIntyre and those surprisingly potent Buffaloes on that September afternoon a few months ago. There will be something about them again this Friday evening. Kickoff is at 9pm ET. If you're reading this still...you will definitely be watching. Get excited folks. #GoBuffs

We beat both teams and PSU was never a contest.  Colorado would have recent wins over Washington St, Utah and #4 Washington.  That's a lot better of a close than beating Rutgers, MSU and Wisconsin, who may not have their starting QB.

In fact, if we don't get in despite getting the "upsets" we needed, I'd rather Colorado go.  Losing at Michigan and USC the way they did looks a lot better than PSU's losses.

even if Colorado wins tonight I will worry about the following until I see us physically take the field vs Bama

  • The committee will buy into the nonesense that Liufau getting knocked out was enough to swing the game in our favor and they'll put Colorado in the playoff
  • The committee will put Penn State or Wisconsin in over us because they have a sick fetish for watching Alabama beat a hapless Big Ten team by 40

teams in the country right now, they are in complete violation of Rule 4 of the Ten Crack Commandments; bottom line.

That being said, Go Buffs!!!!

The best teams right now are Alabama, OSU, and Michigan. If the CFP is supposed to be the Anti-BCS, the politics of worshiping the glorious conference champion needs to be forgotten. Tell me we aren't better than Clemson or Washington.

I'm not sure it's as simple as that.   I think we'll end up needing both Clemson and Washington to lose.  What a lot of people missed in the committee chairman's soundbite was that he thought there was little separation between the teams from #4 to #7, not just #4 (Washington) and #5 (Michigan).

You're right. It's not as simple as that. But you must understand that money means something to the company that is taking subscriber hits every day of around 22,000. If there is any way possible to have Michigan, who they have indicated multiple times is one of the four BEST teams in the country, they are going to put them in. We don't need both to lose. Just one. You think they want Pedophile State University in the playoff this soon after for that to be the storyline for close to a month? No. They don't. They want a month long of Saban vs. Harbaugh and the subtle shots each has made at the other over time. They want a Saban vs. Meyer matchup or even better, Michigan takes down King Saban to set up a rematch of the controversial GAME.  Taking a little heat for those kind of $ is not that big of a deal to them. Let's not be naive here.

I almost got in a fight in 2011 with a former starting QB at Colorado.  His mom was the on site manager at the apartment complex which I was living in at the time, and was a bitch.  The apartment below had a rumbling ceiling fan which vibrated my apartment all day long very loudly and she refused to fix it despite my repeated requests over about a months time, which included me calling the apartment managment home office to complain after she ignored it repeatedly.  She did not like me and had a history of trying to charge me for routine maintance etc.

It finaly came to ahead and I flat out told her to get the damn thing fixed... he over heard this and became hyper aggressive, running out of their apartment towards me ready to fight.

I did not back down.  It was funny, because he came running up to me and got in my face, so I gave it right back to him and he says "you steppin to me bro" and I said "Actually it was you who stepped to me wasnt it?"  At that point he got this look on his face, realized that he was being a douche and backed down. Cooler heads prevailed and I moved out soon afterwards.

Despite all of that... Go Buffs.  Their current QB is a badass ON the field.

Yeah I know: Cool story bro

I will definitely be watching along with the rest of you. My wife doesn't understand why I have spent the entire week pouring over statistics and footage of two Pac-12 teams that I see maybe twice a year for a moment on TV in any other season. I don't quite know how to explain to her my unusual investment in this game, nor will I try. I shall simply watch and sip some wine perhaps....although if Colorado is losing, I'll be sipping it rapidly.

This is the first time since I lived here for 17 years that Coloradans are excited. Everything is always Broncos, Broncos, Broncos. A lot of people on the bandwagon now. With an MS from CU and a Michigan fan. Go Buffs!

Row that Boat...Oh I see what you did there, 'Black and Gold'.  The new 'Black and Gold' is 'Brown & Gold'.  Or is it the new 'Brown and Gold' is the new 'Black and Gold'?  Oh well, I suppose I will root for both tonight to cover all the bases!

Go Blueeeeeee beat Bama!  Go Blue beat Ohio (for the second time)!

Is it just me or do all girls in Colorado have small chests?  I dated a Colorado girl and her boobs were minniature as well as all of her fellow Colorado friends.  The picture of this cheerleader kind of proves my point.

MGrowOld speaks the truth. If you think this story has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
