Noon Games Thread

Nobody else has done it so I'll post a generic boring one. Staee vs. Ohio State seems to be of interest for the early games. I know nothing else.

Dantonio proves that he is not an elite coach. Instead of tying the game and now being in a position to force OT, his QB throws an INT which seals the game for the Buckeyes.

Those 2 plays prove the exact reason you don't go for 2. If you don't get it, you have no chance. Might as well have tried an onside kick with that. You have to know you can't throw your way 90 yard down the field in 2 minutes.

No state of Michigan team should go for 2 against OSU. It pains me that OSU will look so much better next week though, MSU gets their worst all the time I feel like.

Stupid stupid stupid. You've got over 4 mins left and your defense has played great. Why the hell would you go for two?

Oh well. I suppose I should be happy. I like the idea of "nobody kills you but me" when thinking of OSU.

Dantonio totally botched that opportunity with the 2 pt play. Showed he had no confidence in his offense, which is probably based on the way O Connor threw that last pass. What a terrible way to finish a huge opportunity to gain some momentum from a crappy season for Sparty.

MSU's other QB's must really, really be awful because O'Connor is a mistake waiting to happen and he never fails to deliver.

So many classic Sparty No moments in that game.  Going for two, O'Connor throwing it right into a Buckeye chest on the conversion attempt instead of walking it in himself, nearly fumbling it all away inside the twenty, and then tossin up a lollypop to give it away.  They just really didn't want to win.

or does it seem that since last week and the 1-point loss at Iowa, the conversation has become all about all the ways OSU gets into the playoff after they beat Michigan?

I don't mind playing the disrespect card for this week and next.  (even though we're #3)

How can anyone question the decision to go for 2 still? Did you not see Tyler O'Connor play? Would you really want to rely on him to drive down and win this game? Or go to OT with him? 2 was there best chance to win, 100% support that.

This result actually helps us.

Ohio State will come into next week neither confident (if they had won big) nor determined (if they had lost at MSU).

They have a little bit of that thing going that we've had, where you know you can crush weak teams, but you've seen that you can struggle with good teams.

You are not as dominant as you once thought you were.
