Don't think so.  Everyone who is below 4 would have had a chance to play their way in and failed.  I think 4 is fine.  M-OSU loser had a chance.  BIG championship game loser had a chance.  Same with Louisville.  All these teams had a chance to control their own destiny after having one loss and wouldnt have lived up to it.  If you have 2+ losses its hard to make the argument that you really need to be included in the playoff.  If there were 6-7 teams that were undefeated or with 1 loss I would agree with you.

Louisville players jab step and shake defenders reminds me of FSU in the 90s.  Super quick, super athletic, tough to tackle in space.

One of the easiest ways to improve football . . . the clock should not stop on a incomplete pass.

What's the point?  It doess not stop when a run is stopped.

That I can agree with but I was thinking more along the lines of only having the temporary stopping of the clock after first downs inside of a certain time, say maybe 3 minutes or 4. That is what makes it take so long. Or I suppose they could go halfway on your suggestion and just stop the clock on incomplete passes until the ball is set like they do on first downs. The endless commercials drive me nuts too. That's why I have a hard time even watching the NFL. They run the clock more and it still ends up being 3 hours.
