how about Herbstreit stating we are not in Louisville's league

Submitted by Butch-dontcall… on

Can someone ask KIrk Herbstreit if we are still not in the same league as Louisville? They just barely got buy Duke in Louisville. Also i am getting tired of the osu slappies on the B1G network.... Sorry , first post, just venting and -- had a few cocktails and not getting up early to tailgate tomorrow!

Desmond will pull for Michigan, but he doesn't constantly rag on OSU and every player from that school, even though many many many of them deserve it. Herbie does, and should stfu about half the time he speaks on TV.

when he was so intent on proving his objectivity that he went wll beyond his job on his comments on game day. saying he would never have his son play for tressel if he was an offensive player. he went on and on about it. like many programs they will not grant access if a guy is a negative around rhe program. sort of like when harbaugh made comments about the academic standards for football players had been relaxed since he played @ UM.

for example, when saban first took over @ bama if he didn't like a sports  journalist they would get barred from the press conferencess. or at the very least make them fight to get a question in. sort of like the press conference's for the POTUS.

They got lucky as hell with that roughing kicker call. But yeah, i'm eagerly awaiting all those reactionary "journalists" who proclaimed Louisville a top 4 team still *after their loss and 5 turnovers and giving up 600 yards* because "all those points!" to admit they were wrong Yeah i'll be waiting quite a while

Herbfeet and Spewman are the most insufferable homers I have the misfortune of listening too. Sometimes I mute their calls entirely and enjoy golden silence.

It's tough not getting the recognition you think the team deserves. It makes me crazy too. Ultimately, after watching Louisville last night and Clemson today? I am no longer concerned with those teams. So just win our games and we'll be fine. If these guys stay focused, well go into Columbus unblemished. We are both very good teams and it would be sweet to beat them and shut Herby up. Just win. And if fortune favors the maize and blue... we'll get a crack at Bama! For all the marbles and a few five stars! I gotta go take pictures of my girls for homecoming. Go Blue!!!

Oh I hear you barking big dog Butch. It's almost like all of the buckeye homers that got drilled my Michigan in the 90's are now on tv constantly promoting their alma mater. It's so pathetically sad and annoying. I've said it before on here but all of these guys and there are like 7 or 8 of them, are going to start to boil when the tide turns and the sucknuts start trending down. Herbie nerbie cant even hide it. He's trying so hard to brainwash the public on national tv and twitter or whatever he posts that Michigan still has a year to go before they are top level. He knew all along what was in store. They forget their place too often. They are the Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Not Alabama. There needs not be any more time to strenghen the B1G. The king must take it's place on the throan.

The same Louisville with a loss and who just struggled to beat Duke in their own house? That one? Alright then.

with so many devastating hits he would eventually get hurt, we have a ton of NFL worthy guys on defense, look at what happened to RGIII against NFL talent.

If he tried that shit against our D, he would be in for a long day. Duke was in the backfield all night pressuring him, imagine what our D would do. Peppers would spy him all game.

Herbstreit is right about not being in the same league but he had the context all wrong, what else is new?

By the way, now that we have established that my opinion is as valuable as a roll of OSU wipe. I have been to San Diego once and if it weren't for all the service members, I would have been back several more. You wanna talk perfect weather that place is where it is at.
