DPJ taking official to OSU this weekend

Submitted by 608Monroe on

Didn't see this posted anywhere.  Not sure it's anything more than an opportunity to check some boxes with his plans to Florida being screwed by the weather.

Still, don't like the idea of urban having another shot at this kid.  He belongs in the winged helmet.

EDIT:  Not sure why reporting news gets the post negged, but neg bomb away if you must.  This is an important get for Michigan.

It's a chance to go to an iconic stadium and see how Ohio State operates.  Can't say I blame him, while I don't like Urban having a shot at anyone that is high on Michigan at the same time it's time to start winning these battles.

I just hope this doesn't inspire Twitter morons to tweet at him like they did when he was rooting for the Cavs.

If he goes to osu, it will be sad but it wont be the end of the world if he does. We will show the world that you dont need everyone on your team to be a 5 star recruit to beat osu. In addition to that, osu is a run heavy team... ugh... fck osu man.

Normally I'd agree with you, but this cat is the top player in Michigan, and our biggest target on the board.  He's a hugely important piece of the '17 puzzle.

Plus, don't you agree that the possibility of urban pulling the top kid out of Michigan two years in a row is also certainly newsworthy?

Plus we're playing Rutgers this week.

Yeah but I few 5 star playmakers on that team help tremendously.  Seems to work out well for Alabama and OSU.  If having a TEAM results in the same results that we have seen over the past 10 years, I will take the 5-star players.  Anythime Michigan has been great, they have always had 1-2 guys that are absolute playmakers.  MIchigan requires these players in order to compete.

The odds of him coming to OSU is very small. Not that we don't want him, of course Urban would love to have DPJ, but the urgency just isn't that high anymore. We already have two of the top five WRs locked in (Tyjon Lindsey and Trevon Grimes) and we also have Jaylen Harris in our back pocket if we choose to want him in our class.

Urban will take his best shot, and it's Urban so you can never say it's a non-zero chance, but I would be as stunned as I've ever been if he ends up at OSU.

It's a good school if you want to be an NFL bust, with coaches talking about how you don't know simple things like "routes."
